This is fabulous news for the good folks of Huntington and all of New York State.
Amber is taking the word of LL&L to the streets in a very grass-roots style of showmanship and letting her story speak for itself.
Reminds me of seeing "Chance" for the first time at Moonlight Rising among a group of dedicated Amberholics who really dug her naughty side i.e, her twisted macabre humour.
She was there to answer questions but unlike that time, you folks get to go home with a copy of the film signed by her in your hot little hands.

After the Midlands Expo, Amber will be appearing at several Forbidden Planet Stores the week of Sept 17-21, 2007. She will be selling her second independent feature film, "LOVERS, LIARS AND LUNATICS" so drop by, pick up a DVD and say hello!!

Yay! Picked up my copy at Cardiff Forbidden Planet - and dedicated to lil ol' me by Amber's own fair hand!!
A couple of school girls were so excited that by the time they met Amber they started crying - and that started their mum off too! Hilarious.
I swear Amber is still a little bemused by all the fuss. She really seems genuinely humble and gracious and it was a real thrill to finally meet her in person after missing her at the last Collectormania show in the UK.
I was pretty nervous, but at least I managed to ask her a couple of fairly sensible questions like had she been to Cardiff before (she said she had been once).
Amber also seemed pleased when I produced a copy of her Ghosts of Albion novel Accursed to sign as well as a couple of her Willow & Tara comics. Now all I need to do is to meet Alyson and get her to sign the comics too!

I'm lucky enough to live on Long Island, so I'll be going to see Amber and the movie in Huntington. I'll be going with my family, because it's my mom's birthday and my family's into cool, off-beat films. Unfortunately, since it's a school night and none of my friends are into Buffy, it'll just be me and my family. (Plus, I'm guessing my friends might be freaked out if they saw that half the audience was lesbian couples... I'm secure in my straight masculinity, though, so I'm ok with that.) Hey, sounds like a great night out, getting to see Amber an' all. I think you'll enjoy the movie, too, I know I did and it has helped to open my eyes to what's out there by way of smaller-budget films. I'm like you, my friends aren't into Buffy etc, nor are my family, so it's great to have fellow kittens to share with!

Amber is currently filming a project for the Lifetime Channel in Vancouver and is unable to make the screening during a weekday. I'm not sure why anyone from the Centre would be telling people it isn't going to be re-scheduled. (The website states postponed, not cancelled.) They were asked to reschedule for a week-end so that Amber can attend. Hopefully, things will work out and a new date for the screening will be announced soon. Third times a charm?

hmm, that certainly wouldn't be my experience having recently met her at a small signing event at the back of a smallish comic shop in my humble home town. I've never met a celeb (and I've met quite a few) who was less 'Hollywood' in my life. She was charming, down to earth and clearly delighted to meet and greet her fans, giving time and attention to everyone.
I would be inclined to take that comment from the theatre guy with a large pinch of salt and I do hope it's gets rescheduled for you some time.

Yippee! I just got back from seeing Amber! It was a lovely experience. The movie was great (my parents liked it too), and I got to talk with Amber a little bit after the movie.

I told her she had a wonderful singing voice in OMWF and asked if she was thinking about singing in any future projects, or releasing an album. She said that she would love to do a musical movie at some point, although it was move expensive than a normal film. So there's hope we'll get to hear her gorgeous voice again!

After that, she signed my copy of the DVD and Ghosts of Albion: Accuresed, and I got a picture taken with her . She said I was very precocious, taking my parents to see films like this. All in all, it was awesome!

Also, this weekend I started getting my parents to watch Buffy, from the beginning. It's too bad Amber didn't show up until season four, but my mom is looking forward to it, especially OMWF.

I bought my LLL DVD signed by Amber through Forbidden Planet over here in the UK...not being lucky enough to go to an actual signing.
I see on the official LLL website that "Chance" is also on there....does anyone know if it's still available to buy through that website??? There were no update indicators to whether it was still current info there or not. I would like to buy the Chance DVD directly from them rather than go through the secondhand market.

I now own the movie Amber was awesome we sat less then 7 feet from her she spoke to me during the Q&A session she took a Question that another kitten had sent with me. she is funny has a sharp sense of wit and I like to have passed out at the fact that she is so naughty. I loved it all after there was a reception with food and wine. She shook my hand with both of hers signed autographs for me and I bought her movie. we talked she makes you feel very special. then pictures all in all I am so happy she is everything I ever dreamed she could be and more. Sera and I had such a good time.
