Are we any closer to getting Ghosts on CD/DVD? Could they be waiting to find out how successful the novels are?

Hey all,

Just as a reminder. "Ghosts of Albion: Accursed" is out tomorrow.
Some stores are selling it now (I was able to find copies at a couple of places around Chicago) and of course online.

If you order from Shocklines you can get an autographed copy.
http://store.yahoo.com/shocklines/ghofalacbchg.html

Amazon,
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... 34547130X/

Barnes and Nobles,
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/bookse ... 034547130X

Or your own local place.

Remember. Like all things, first week sales make the most impact, so if you are going to buy it, sooner is much better than later.

Also with the Holidays coming up it is never too early to think about those people in your life that might enjoy this book. Pick up 2 (or 3!)

Thanks!

Waiting for my pre-ordered copy from Amazon.com to come in the mail but I did get a thrill of satisfaction and did the maniacal laughter and rubbing of the hands in glee at seeing the name of Amber Benson prominently displayed on a Halloween stand at my local Barnes and Noble.

Dana,
I was at the B&N in Cedar Rapids but I'm sure the one in Coralville would have Amber and Chris's tome as well.

For Chicago Kittens, the huge Borders on State has many copies and the manager is a big Amber fan.

I talked to the staff and about it and they seemed excited.

If you read it and like it, please share that knowledge with others. Or post a review at Amazon.

I think "Best Selling" or "Award Winning" Author would be another nice accolade for the talented Ms. Benson.

TL- we have to get Prairie Lights to show the book as well. I didn't know there was a BN in Cedar Rapids, so I will have to check that one out next time I am up that way. I have not yet seen the book here in Davenport, but our local Borders is undergoing rearrangement so is a mess, and I have not been to the BN in about a week. Guess I know what I am doing during lunch today!

Well, I have placed my entries into the competition. Will be fun to see who the winners are.

And I just want to say how much I envy the person who will receive the phone call.

I will hopefully order the book in the next few days from my local bookstore. Hopefully it will arrive before Xmas.

Hmmm....interesting question, captain katie. I couldn't help but notice that "Tamara" can be unscrambled as "am Tara." And check out the widow's peak...that bears a striking resemblance to a certain redhead.

My very carefully thought-out hypothesis is thus: Tamara is Willow and Tara's magickally (under a tree) conceived love child, sent back in time to...uhhh...solve mysteries and stuff (forgive me, I just started reading Astray). :-D

I'm not sure it's that carefully thought out.

That said, it makes more sense than it has any right to be.

Benson will easily find a built in audience in the form of her frothing “Taraholics.” As the title evolves into a series of novels (and perhaps a television series?), the afterlife looks very good for at least one member of the former Scooby Gang.

Excellent :laugh

I've just found the new GoA website and ordered a copy of "Accursed" from Amazon.fr (the only French website that offers it, apparently - 12 euros, if you're interested), I'm glad this is still going on!

Once a lesbian icon? I was under the impression that she still is an icon to many lesbians, not only for portraying such a well-loved lesbian character, but for being a strong female role-model as well.

Read the book report, good to se they see this move as something positive and will give her a life after Buffy (as if that was in any doubt).

I really like your theory :clap , much better than Tamara being a past life of Tara. That's too icky to think about and I hope Amber and Chris don't go there.

William and Tamara : Willow and Tara

When I first saw that I was like, "you're kidding, right?" I bet Amber did it just for us kittens.
Even if you was lesbian, celibate, promiscuous, super-religious, atheist, vegetarian, save the rain forest, save the whales- in the end, you would still be mine- "Name Me Nobody"
