It's part of the beauty of Amber, her 'realness'. She hasn't been molded, and I use the word deliberately, in to some Hollywood image of attactiveness. It's right after the cute one from OAFA, the poker scene, where she's smirking at Spike; this one, she's wearing a red sweater or jacket, her hair is slightly mussed, and her mouth is hanging open in shock or surprise. Where is that from? Do you know?

Sorry Captain, I don't do "briefly" when it comes to Tara. There's no real story behind why her hair is messy (unless you want to supply your own). It's morning, right after breakfast, and I think that particular picture is of Tara telling Buffy the her mom had life insurance but she's still broke.
