Ooooh I didn't see that new avatar of yours... :drool

About the waiting, think of it this way: imagine yourself in a few months... you've kinda have forgotten about the DVD because you're caught up in real life stuff... one day you open the mail and surprise!!!! and you'll be bouncing with joy (:bounce <- you)!!! ;)

Have a good night :)

Hee... thanks for the drooly smiley. :kiss

And you're right. I'll probably forget, well... that's not really the right word - forget, cause I'll never forget I'm going to be getting Chance in the mail... :) BUT... it will be a MAJOR surprise when it does arrive.

Thanks, sweetie! Have a good night, too.

i don't post a lot, but i needed some help. i'm a bit confused. i finally was able to open up the chance website today, to place my order (dumb computer). so i filled out the order form and when i hit submit, it just took me to a blank email in my account. so i just closed everything and came here. should i fill out and send an email to them with my order, or what? would that mean i ordered it twice if the first one want through, cuz i don't have a lot of money and that would be bad. i'm very confused. how long did it take for other people to get confirmation emails, so i'll have an idea if my order just did not go through at all?

skippalicious (& wiccanwiggle) - I'm not sure about the form, people do seem to be having problems with that. I used Xita's suggestion and sent an email including all the details from the form and payed through paypal - I got a confirmation reply 2 days after. Hope you get yours sorted :)

Hey Skipp:

I wouldn't stress too much over this -- those benson women are pretty sharp and most likely won't overcharge you for anything. This is what I'd recommend.

1. Go to the post office and get a money order for the option you want, plus shipping.

2. Copy the order form from the Chance page onto a piece of paper (either print it out or handwrite it). Next to the fields, write in the options you want. Paper clip your money order to this "order form" and mail it to:

Benson Entertainment

14622 Ventura Blvd. Box #364

Sherman Oaks, CA 91403

If you want to go via pay pal, you can put all of the "order information" in the comments field. That way, your actual order won't be separated from your payment. That's what I did. I also sent Benson Entertainment a quick email to let them know that LW's form didn't work, so I placed my order in this fashion. I got a confirmation two days later.

Hope this helps.

Jill

CHANCE updates!

For those who ordered BOTH the picture and the poster:

The picture and poster will be coming in separate packages. The poster will arrive in a tube and the picture will be shipped in an envelope with a strong cardboard insert.

Mailing news from the Bensons:

Hey guys!

Thanks to you we're in the process of replicating "CHANCE". We will have them in the mail within 4 to 6 weeks. The posters and pictures will arrive within 1 to 2 weeks of receiving your payment.

Thanks,

amber and diane

Hey Guys,

I'm going to mail my order in next week, but I was just curious about something.

Has anyone mailed theres in at the post office and requested the option for it to be signed for when it arrived? I thought that would be the best way to do it. I'll pay a little more to do it that way, but it beats having it possibly get lost in the mail.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Hee... they said they would send the movies out in Four to Six weeks. YAY!!!! :bounce

OH, for those who don't know, I forgot to mention that when you do opt for the signing option, they will ask you if you would like the little slip to be mailed back to you afterwards. It will show on that slip that your mail or package has been signed for, as you actually see the signature on the card. :)

I placed my order. Answered all the questions from the form in an email and then paid by paypal. Got my confirmation a couple of days later, so that's all good.

Hee, I can't wait. I'm sure I missed stuff the first time around because everyone was laughing so much. And you can never have too much Amber on DVD. Sigh.

um...I do hope this is not stupid or anything but I really don't get it.

So, how to use Paypal? I mean if I got a credit card then it's all right? I mean is there any specific type of credit card? And really, is this the only way to pay by credit card? ( Which I really don't know if there is another way. )

And if I pay by money order, then I should go to the bank to money change into US$ check ( or draft, is it the same?), should I? And then go the post office to send it with the order form again, am I right?

:shy god I'm sorry. It's really silly, I know.

And there's no limited to the signed photo, right? :eyebrow

Gee, I think I'm panic here. :eek :banana

Hello Kittens,

For those of you having problems with the order form, as I did at first, here is a quick solution.

fill out the form as it is on the webpage

once filled out, highlight everything from the top of the form to the bottom

right click and copy

then press send

If a blank email comes up, just paste what you copied into the email (ensuring it all copied of course) and send.

This also got me a confirmation email.

Good Luck!!

PS I have butterflies now, seeing that other people are starting to receive items. WOOHOO can't wait!!

:applause :banana :heart :tara

Thank you Amber and Alyson!!

Got my poster today and considering it was post marked July 24th it's done pretty well to get here to Australia in only a few days. I hope this is a good omen for the DVD getting here soon now :D

And emma I won't say anything about the fact that I could have made you a nice unedited copy of TTV in whatever format you needed right off my DVD :)

The picture was a little creased, but nothing a day under a heavy book won't fix. I'm currently trying to decide whether I should post that scan.

Ok just to save you some work, here's a scan of the photo:

It's about 145k, and I decided it was best to remove the autograph to stop any potential scammers printing it out (plus, y'know, Amber scrawled that wierd lasso thing for _me_).

Postby Puff » Tue Jul 29, 2003 8:18 pm

Ok so my photo arrived last week but I haven't gotten my poster yet. Has this happened to anyone else and if so how long should I wait before saying something to Benson Entertainment? I even checked on paypal that I had paid the right amount for both of them...at least I hope I did ($63?).
