AfterEllen took every female gay/bi character and sorted them into HOUSES...as well as death eaters, lol.

I like that Lauren Lewis and Tara are both in Hufflepuff with me :3

While I like the idea of various female gay characters being sorted into various Hogwarts house I do have to ask Why Myka Bening and Toshiko Sato are included. Being a fan of both Warehouse 13 and Torchwood I have seen both these shows regularly and can't recall a time when I saw either of them showing an interest in someone of the same sex, though I will admit to not having seen Torchwood for a while so I may have missed something with Tosh.

Not sure about warehouse 13, but Tosh had a fling with a mind reading alien girl in season one of TW.

Rick... I don't watch either show, but I'm sure at some point, both characters had a lesbian relationship of sorts. Heather Hogan, the afterellen.com writer responsible for their placement, is the gayest TV writer I know. She could probably tell us off the top of her head, every lesbian/bi TV character (even the ones with only thoughts of lesbianism) over the last 25 years, lol. I trust her knowledge emphatically! If she puts them in a house, then they belong there. :grin

On a side note...did ya'll notice that there was no mention of JFK? ANYWHERE! Not even as a Death Eater. It makes me love Heather even more...the girls' got integrity! She's mentioned on more than one occasion her feelings towards a certain S7 character who, in my opinion, could easily take the place of the supreme "she-who-shall-not-be-named" on this list. :devil I wouldn't be surprised if Heather is a Kitten or has been a Kitten at some point. :blush

Myka in Warehouse 13 have never had a canonical gay relationship, but the actor who plays her has commented on how they thinks Myka is in love with HG. It's pretty heavy with the subtext ~feels if not an actual relationship.

That's because she doesn't exist in anyone's fantasy reality. Except perhaps as a punching bag. Woot.

Ok, I'm not well versed on HP, so I'm mainly going by the given descriptions of the houses here. Willow's placement is, of course, perfect. As is Bette Porter's.

But as an avid Nip/Tuck fan, I'm actually offended that she put Liz Cruz in Slytherin. Liz was never anything but loyal and understanding and all around awesome. She belongs in Hufflepuff. No question.

And also, Ava Moore isn't gay or bi. She's a MtF transgender whose sexual preference is strictly men. Thus straight. Just saying. But if she has to be included I think she should've been a death eater cuz she was a cruel, twisted bitch. (So much so, in fact, that I was rather uncomfortable with the political implications of the transgender community.)

Jenny Schecter's placement is also perfect.

Even though I'm only familiar with a handful of those characters, this was quite entertaining.

Heather Hogan (the author) feels the same way and has said it many times before:)

I agree with you about Liz. I wasn't a huge Nip/Tuck fan, but I did watch several seasons until they jumped the shark with the whole Jullian marriage deal. Anyway, yes...definitely a Hufflepuff. I have no idea who Ava Moore is, lol. I also LOVED that Ilene Chaiken was Voldemort!!! Perfect in every way!!

Entertaining indeed!

On the note of Myka being in there, its pretty well established amongst all the cast and writers the Bering and Wells sub-plot. The way Joanne Kelly and Jaime Murray talk about it alone is enough to jump aboard the ship, let alone the lingering looks between HG and Myka or think about the heart breaking scenes in the season 3 finale. Then again the show never really addresses many romantic relationships between everyone, I think it tries to focus more on the values of a family amongst all the crazy artifact going ons.

I stuck both Willow and Tara into Ravenclaw due to Willow being the go to gal on knowledge and Tara having that Luna-esque edge on people and the emotional knowledge type thing. But I can see her if Huffleppuff too.

I love that they've got Cara Mason from Legend of the Seeker stuck in there too! And the fact she isn't a slytherin, I mean she's just a lot more to the point than everyone else and sharper than needed but still. God how I miss that show.
