Its not confirmed as its a cliff-hangerbut it is strongly indicated.

If they drag it out and it turns out to be a ruse it will be another legitimate claim why book burning should be allowed for the Buffy comics.
If its real then huzzah! only took 20 years but finally the Tara resurrection or at least some magic mojo jo jo so some essence of Tara can live on.

I met the author of the Last Slayer at a comic book shop in my city. She was very very cool, we got on the subject of Tara (because I am who I am) and she showed me artwork from the next issue which shows an aged up Willow and Tara getting married.... that is all I know, I don't know if that means they are still alive in this comic story, but they made it into middle age, so ...I think it really is their daughter if nothing else

I've only seen the preview snippets but I'm in full support of this time line. Two pages of them grown up has put the fattest metaphorical smile on my face.

I just caught up on the comic - first of all, it was very good and I recommend picking it up! It's an easy 4-part that's bound in a single volume and since it's basically an AU, there's no context for it so it's not like you have to know other comics to jump into it and understand.

It is Willow and Tara's daughter! The AU had Willow and Tara reconcile at some point like canon but veered off because obviously, Tara didn't die. They haven't explained the divergence, at least not in the main issue and the Special Issue that was a short follow-up won't be released in bound paperback until October so TBD on if there's more to that backstory.

But it was really nice to see a version of a world in which the two of them married and built a life together even if it was only in snippets.

Anyone else read it??

I was thrilled to see them alive and together- even as it turns out.

The special has some interesting things in store- esp for Tara- I loved that they are included, but... the story itself I think needs more- it's got some cool aspects but in the end doesn't feel very fleshed out ... still, always great to have Tara involved in a comics story
