Amber's songs

Postby DawnsMan » Mon Apr 01, 2002 8:59 pm

I was just looking in AudioGalaxy and I typed in Amber Bensons name and two songs came up. One is called Creature of the Night and the other is called TouchaTouchaTouchMe. Has anyone else heard these songs? They're downloading now so I will let you know what they sound like. I've already downloaded Under Your Spell from here and it sounds great, so hopefully these will too! :hat

Touch me is from the VH1 Rocky Horror Karaoke special, the video clip of her singing the song really rocks. :)

Yeah, I think they are both the same song. And, the video is not to be missed if you can find it. I know it is online but I can't remember where I got it. Amber! Yay! Amber in bra! Double Yay!

Tara: Do you mind if I keep the light on? I was gonna look up some spells.
Willow: That's fine, I don't need to be snuggled...
Tara: Vixen!

I've been looking for the video of that performance for ages! I used to have it in my computer, until my boyfriend accidentaly deleted it (the real kind of accidental, not like when he 'accidentally' deleted my Naked Spike pics).

Anyway, does anybody know where I can find it?

Shewolf, if you want to download it on your computer, you can click on the link I posted above, it will open into a download window right away, just select a folder into which you want it to go.

It figures with Amber's NC-17 mind she'd love RHPS. I love her singing, and RHPS too, so it's the best of both worlds :)

Ah hum, well whoever made the file is the person who rocks, it originally came from Raven's Realm, which is now gone, so I whined to Puff to ask Froggy to put it up so we could easily link it. :grin

She does, but her performance in OMWF is FAR better then the rocky horror one.

Well I'll agree her singing in OMWF is better, it's superb, could not be any better, but if you consider that in RH she is singing live, in front of an audience, dressed in not much more than underwear (the stuff nightmares are made of, well personal nightmares I mean, I quite enjoyed looking at this video, but you knpw what I mean), then her preformance is pretty damn phenomenal. :)

oh yeah

especially since she had to fill in for someone else on rather short notice from what I heard.

And I do have the video of that lying around, and if thats not worth a persons time to watch, then I dont know what is.

ps

well, naked W/T sex is...

Yeah, I loved this performance from the RHPS. However, I can't help feeling that this song, and Under Your Spell are a tad too high for Amber's voice. I'm thinking we'd be totally blown away if we heard her sing something that was mid to low-range. Yum.

Bookcat - do you still need the song? I can unzip it when I get home and give you access to it on my server...I should be home in about an hour...I'll check back on the board or shoot me an email.

Mmm... *nods* Like the octave she uses for the line "everything is turning out so dark" (in Drawn to the Fire). Rich and throaty... low and sexy.

I agree that would definitely be yum and a lovely change, but I adore every little bit of Under Your Spell, and wouldn't want it different for the world. The highness of 'compleeeeete' makes the scene, well, complete... ;)

edited for horrible bold text...

Tara: Hey! You're gonna back off. She said no, and that's it. You're not gonna make her do something that she doesn't want to. And if you try, you're gonna have to go through me first. Understood?

If you want to hear Amber sing in a more lower key check out All The Fun of The Fair from ASH album

Definitely lower singing for Amber. But hey, lets just remember that Under Your Spell isn’t just too high on her, its just really high. I wouldn’t give it to anybody except maybe Tori Amos or Sinead O’Connor. I think Joss flunked a bit there.

And that bit – everything is turning out so dark… sends a little shiver down my spine, no kidding. Women singing low, that’s just the sexiest thing.

And on the Toucha-toucha-touch me vid: yes, I’m completely sure that you all downloaded it because of the sound quality. And because she has such a sexy voice. Yep. *snickers* nah, really, I have it too. :)

nah, actually the jerkface did it intentionally, amber said so, he plunked it out for her on the piano at one of those dinners at his house, an octave lower, then when they went to go do it he said "oh by the way amber it made it way out of your range on purpose to see how high you cant go? isnt that fun?" and she was like, oh. great.

but it all worked out swell.

I personally would LOVVVVE to see amber in, perse, chicago? that'd be yummy. or just in general, amber on broadway would make me all yummy inside.

peace out.

Willow: It's horrible! That's me as a vampire? I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.
