Aly interviews in Yam & Bravo

Yam: AP3 starts with a hot scene, you spoil Jason Biggs under the table. Was this awkward for you?

Alyson: Not for me! I spent most time under the table to look for something I however did not find.



Yam: Obviously you had a great time on the set...

Alyson: Truth be told – it was like a holiday resort for me. Really refreshing after this disaster with Buffy.



Yam: So it´s true that you are angry with Sarah Michelle Gellar, because you were informed by the press about the ending of the series?

Alyson: The press did a lot of exaggerating. Not all was false. How would you feel, when you were informed by the press, that tomorrow you don´t need to come to work? At first I was disappointed and angry, because it was not fair. But in the meantime so much time passed that I can live well thereby.



Yam: Did you talk to Sarah since the ending of the show?

Aylson: No, we don´t talk to each other anymore.



Yam: Were you good friends with her?

Alyson: Never. It was only a work related relationship. Sarah always was retiring. That´s how she does her work. It´s fine...



Yam: Do you miss Buffy?

Alyson: Sure, I miss the series. I spent 7 great years there. I met some of my best friends on the set- and my fiancé.



Yam: In AP3 you could practice for your wedding. When will you and Alexis Denisof get married?

Alyson: Someday in the next 12 month. Currently we are planning. Maybe we will fly to an island with some friends.



Yam: Is the sex in you real life as crazy as in the film?

Alyson: Sure. I like to experiment. (laughs) You really think I would talk about my sexlife here?



Yam: What about kids?

Alyson: I want kids. In the first instance Alexis and I want to be married. If you have children, there isn´t enough time for tenderness.



Yam: Do you think this was the last part of American Pie?

Alyson: Maybe we´ll get together in ten years and do another one. That would be funny.



Yam: Did you believe ten years ago in such a success like Buffy and American Pie?

Alyson: No! But acting was all I ever wanted to do. And I had a lot of fun at the Buffy set and at the movies. I´m glad that everything is like it is.



Yam: Is living for you easier now, than a few years ago?

Alyson: Living is easier! Something else to say would be probably totally ungrateful. I live my dream. I always say: “Life is what you make from it.” Okay, sometimes I get annoyed, but that´s not very often.



Yam: Your plans for the future?

Alyson: Don´t know. Getting married. My next project I´ll pick really careful. I don´t want to hurry.



Yam: Do you have still different goals in the life except marriage and family?

Alyson: Yes, but they often change. And if I achieved a goal, I sit down equal again ten new...



Yam: Which are straight current?

Alyson: I want to make a long career and to lead a still longer marriage with Alexis. These goals will remain existing also still for a long time.





Yam: Actually still does time for hobbies remain for you apart from the wedding preparations and the search for new projects?

Alyson: Those I take myself simply. If I do not play with my cat and the three dogs, I play soccer. I rose even last year at night, in order to watch the WM. The Germans played good.

Thanks Littlecrazy80!! Great job on the translation. Aly is saying pretty much what she has been saying in other interviews about being upset about hearing from the press about SMG leaving and wanting to move on. I have the feeling that none of these interviews is exclusive and all come from one or two conference calls that the actress participated in as part of the AP3 junket.

My impression from this is that Aly isn't ready to do the sure thing like more work with ME and wants to take time to develop new projects. I hope so. Aly is so talented and deserves to have better writing and than she had with ME the past 2 years. She's talked about doing a sitcom or a dramtic movei role. I wish her the best in moving on from ME.

I too hope Aly will get some great roles so she can fully show off her talent. I'd love to see her in a dramatic piece (proper drama, not season sux-style soap angst), but a sitcom would be great too.

I think the Bravo interview isn´t that interesting. They talk more about Jason than Aly.



Jason was afraid of kissing Aly at the set, cause Alexis was there one day. And he thought he would want to slap him. And Aly says that Jason is a great kisser.



Aly said that her wedding dress is already at the tailor (?). But she won´t talk about it because of Alexis.

Buffy was a disaster all right, but not because of SMG. I wish they hadn't sent Aly off on that tangent, when she could've talked about Tara's death & the horrible scripts.
