the plot sounds like my family...well without the accidental murder action going on. well there's been some close calls, well actually more like the urge to ring someone's neck.



Does sound like a terrific movie.

This sounds like it's going to be a good character study, so it can be both dramatic and funny in equal measure. So I reckon it will be funny with an eye on the drama, and dramatic with an eye on the absurdity of the situation.

After speaking to Diane, we have decided to give people from the European Community a chance to donate money and be part of the drawing without sending money via PayPal or a money order. Sounds like it might be kind of a dark comedy.



For the person who asked, accidental murder would most likely be a form of manslaughter, but it could also be second degree murder. (I'm taking criminal law right now so...yeah...that's where I get this from. lol)



Haven't seen anything about casting yet. I'm intrigued to see who plays who. I really like the idea based off that summary.

It's funny, I just watched a French movie called "Bienvenue chez les Rozes", and although the storyline isn't the same (but with a few similarities), I'm thinking Amber's movie will be in the same range! Anyway, if you have the opportunity to see it, it's really fun!

I just posted this in the contest thread, but it affects the monthly raffle fundraiser as well:



Mrs. Benson received an e-mail from Diamond informing them as to when the figures are expected to be shipped out to them. She says she is sorry, but it will be a little while longer before the figures can be sent to the winners.



The expected arrival dates at casa Benson are:



* Hush Tara: late October.

* The Willow and Tara "forever" set: November

* Triangle Tara: late November



If all goes well the monthly winners can expect their prizes several weeks later.

Ok, I don't know if this is going to work, but I thought that I'd throw it out there. If you go to Ebay and do a search on "celebrity dinner" - you'll pull up five or six celebrity dinner auctions, for various charities with celebs like Leo DiCaprio, Benjamin Bratt, Sarah Jessica Parker, etc. Currently, Ben Affleck is up to $25,000 or something insane like that.



Anyhoo, I was thinking back before I saw this that if I had the money, I would easily donate a whole lot of it to Amber's new movie project, in exchange for say, lunch with her. Nothing stalker creepy or anything - she could bring along her mom or whoever. I just think a lot of fans would pay for the opportunity to sit and share a meal with her, chat for an hour, have a chance to tell her how much we adore her, etc. Plus, you could always make it a group thing, like a lunch for four people or something like that, and have people pool their money together.



Now, the downside to this idea is that I imagine the lot of us Amberholics are not the wealthiest people in the world. Heck, I can't even afford to fly to California (which I assume is where she would want to do this) much less actually place a bid. But maybe I'm wrong about that. I just thought, even if it's a crappy idea, you never know. It might be worth consideration.

Badkitty, personally I think it is best to give these two fundraisers a chance before suggesting anything else. If they sell all the Triangle Tara figures and get at least 54 people to donate this month and every month that will go a long way.
