That's a problem with your WWW-browser, not your Internet connection, so it has nothing to do with you living in France.
But like PeaceFVR said you should be able to watch the video by downloading it into your computer.

Strangely I was able to see the original page also, and I'm living in, well, far far away from USA. Not that I'm complaining, seeing Amber always saves the day

Here's a transcript. I'll put it behind a spoiler just in case, so I don't ruin the video for anybody.

AMBER: ...my character and, and her girlfriend kissing was a big deal, nobody wanted us to do that. And he basically had to fight with the censors to let them, you know, say it's OK for us to do this. Umm...

INTERVIEWER: Why do you think that was still a problem, since there's been so many other female kisses... female to female kisses on... I mean, there've been... precedents--

AMBER: I think, I think everything was sort of gratuitous, was sort of for the 'oh look, two girls kissing'. And here's something that's not like that at all, this is like the antithesis of that; this is two women that are in a relationship that's long-term, that's, you know, intimate, and it's not just gratuitous. Umm, and I think that really frightened people.

AMBER: I personally think it's, you know, just normal, and we should all accept whatever. You know, if you're lucky to find someone you love period, whatever colour or gender they are, you're just bloody lucky, you know?[/spoiler]

The reason that Amber was asked these questions at this exact point in time has to do with developments in Buffyverse. I originally posted the NYT article unsure if it was right to do so, but it is post S5 so was deleted. But in this case, it is an interesting development.

Thanks VERY much for posting these links! I found the clip at the mtv site because of... other matters, couldn't view it, & thought Surely someone here will have made it available! Yay you. I don't know how to save-as for the first (Quicktime) link since those are embedded/proprietary, if someone wants to let me know if there's some trick to it, that'd be cool. But the flv file worked a treat.

One quick question: the mtv link was supposedly about 3 minutes long, though I might have read that wrong? The flv file is just under 1 minute. Is this the full interview, or were parts cut because of this site's restrictions about not-talking about He Who Should Not Be Named and/or seasons beyond you-know-what? Again, many thanks for making this available!!!
