Amber tv movie: Holiday Wishes

Postby Redsbird » Fri Dec 05, 2008 8:19 am

Amber's Lifetime movie 'Holiday Wishes' will be re-broadcast Dec. 10th in the afternoon (2pm/E, 1pm/C, 12pm/M, 2pm/P)

I think 'Attack of the Gryphon' will be on SciFi sometime in January.

I haven't seen either of these, but am prepared for the potential sappiness of Lifetime holiday fare!

It's also on the Canadian W Network the day before.

I enjoy the movie, though my enjoyment is tainted by the knowledge that certain scenes were filmed at a location less than five minutes away from where I live, meaning I missed out on a chance of meeting the hotness that is Amber. :happy

I saw this comedy but I think that isnt so good as 7 things...
Its more for children I think and its why Amber ,cant, do some funny jokes:-) but nice is scene with mentioned a Buffy (nicer will be if Amber look on camera with smile):-)

Okay so Holiday Wishes has finally come over to the UK so I've now seen it.

I liked it. I'll be honest I find Xmas films invariably overly sweet with the sentimentality and this one was no exception but you know that going into this sort of film so it wasn't a shock.

The acting was goo all round. Amber was very believable and the scene in the coffee shop where she is confronted by the truth regarding her Sister is very well done and brought some genuine emotion to the piece.

Yes it all ends well and everyone learns a valuable leson etc but it was pleasant and not too taxing. I agree that 7 Things is a better movie all in all but this one wasn't too bad and if its on over Xmas in your area and you have the chance to see it, you will see a lot worse over Xmas than check this movie out.

I wish we got xmas movies played here, pretty sure they have this imaginary rule where they have to play a bunch of old over-played action movies and such over the break. I want to see Amber goodness!
