Aw, their first date. And Karaoke to boot! You know, I've come to believe that karaoke has been invented by the most evil person in the world. Someone who delights in seeing people of all ages humiliate themselves in all manner of public places.

Like I said before, Logan is a real piece of work. I think Tara did well to let go of that deadbeat.

But now Tara has Willow. :party

And they smooched in the rain, cutest image ever.

Ahhh, how lovely. They're being honest and open and I really like that. I used to have a theory that if you want to know about a potential lover, interviewing their ex would be a great way to find out everything you need to know. Of course in this case, a psycho like Logan would say completely psycho stuff but in general... Anyway, it's great that Tara can tell the truth about herself and that Willow gets it. Karoke of course and cute that Willow sang. Tara's really taking initiative which is great. Thanks for the update.

That sounds like a fun date, although, I'm not sure I would have chosen a karaoke bar for a first date, but, it was a wonderful idea &, it lead to :wtkiss

Let's see - talking about Logan, not the best conversation choice for a 1st date, but, it was all good so, that's okay.

Beautiful, outstanding, lovely. I so love your fic. It started good and it's getting better with every update. Willow and Tara are really cute together. Loved the playful banter between them. And even if I adore Spencer it was nice to get a look on them without him. And the kiss was just great. Wonder were they go on from here. Will Tara invite Willow for coffee after Karaoke and have a look at her paintings??? We will see. Can't wait for the next update. Thanks.

Hey Emms, I loved loved loved this update. You can tell that Willow really likes Tara because she voluntarily gets up on the stage to sing. Now that ain't any garden-variety crush, for sure. And their kiss was totally romantic and H-O-T. Kissing in the rain.

I certainly do hope that you are going to pick up right where you left off, whippersnapper. We need to see the convo in the car following the kiss, since Tara trotted off to get in the car immediately following. (It's tough being bold, Tara...)

Maybe it's just my own rampant paranoia, but Willow's musing on what she regards as her own behaviour as a 'user' in previous 'relationships' seems to be foreshadowing future potential angst.

Could her past come back to bite her in her oh-so shapely buttocks? Am I a silly pratt? The answer to both these questions is a resounding yes!

Singing Barry Manilow? Badly? Could this perhaps be Angel, I wonder? Most likely a throw away line of no consequence whatsoever, but I still liked it.

okay... so i'm back for some proper feedback finally!

like everybody else, this is the moment i have been waiting for in a while... their first date... and what better place to go to on a first date but to a karaoke bar! we filipinos love singing and videoke bars are found just about anywhere.

i wouldn't have thought willow had it in her to actually go up on stage and sing for tara, but as they say love moves in mysterious ways and willow definitely has it bad for tara...what with conquering her fear of stages and swallowing her embarrassment over her... how did tara put it?... awful singing hehe... i think in her mind, the reason she did this uncharacteristic act is to probably tell tara in her actions that she is willing to do anything for her (even things she personally doesn't like doing) and she must have felt the lyrics of the song will be able convey the message in her heart that her babble is inadequate to say.

it seems tara is becoming bolder and bolder with willow these days... she's probably even surprising herself with her uncharacteristic boldness... her subconscious is probably getting too impatient to wait around for willow to make the first move or her heart is probably too excited to pass up this chance with willow so it's doing its darndest to reel her in (so to speak)...

it seems that tara and willow are finding themselves doing things that are a little uncharacteristic for them... i think they are probably ready to work without their safety net... good for them... they both deserve this.

like everyone said, the setting for their first kiss couldn't get more romantic than that... and tara's words resonated within willow that she, for a moment, was made incapable of moving:

I definitely agree that it wasn’t surprising. Especially if Logan has been Tara’s only frame of reference. I can see Tara having questions though…which will probably come up in the immediate future. I don’t see it being a big roadblock to their relationship though…and it helps that they have been nothing but honest with each other.

I’m glad you liked the update. It took me awhile to write because I kept going over whether or not I should have Anya in there. I didn’t want her to ruin the “feel” of the story…but that line about “gay of the day” kept going around in my mind and I knew no one would be able to pull it off, but her.

And I’m happy that you like the progression of the Willow/Tara/Spencer relationship. I’ve tried to keep it moving at a steady pace.
