The JFK thing is a board function to erase 'she who must not be named' from existence.
Can't say i disagree with that one

I can think of a couple stories that fit your description, though with JFK, there's a good chance it either not on this board, or was removed at some point.

Tears of the Goddess by lisa countryman is similar in description and is on the board somewhere, i think.

Shades of Gray By The Rainbow Writers is one i found while looking.

Tara comes back, from a very unpleasant afterlife of contant war.
It seems the Powers That Be got upset with how easy folks were having it and made it tougher, and Tara comes back from that somehow with all fighting skills, and slayer-ish. I think she gets all threateny and her eyes glow or something.
I seem to remember a title pic of amber in her wolf t-shirt.

It's bugging me now. I'm going to go find it

The one i'm looking for now is 'Scoobies teach writing,' or something like that.

I think it might be on this board somewhere.
But the search function is rubbish.

Sort of a fourth wall breaking thing where different scoobs teach each other attribution, 'said' and stuff, all with the aid of coloured text.

I think this is the one i'm looking for.
I think the cover art has AB in her wolf tank top.

And i think Tara has a a magically significant birthmark/tattoo. And knows how to fight, on account of the PTB changed the rules in the afterlife.
Oh and she has anger issues, due to some slayer-ness

How I Met Your Mother - They aren't in high school, but it's high school times (they're at camp)

Doorway To Love - AU, Willow moves schools and meets Tara

Skate And Hate - AU Highschool, Tara's a skater

Class of 99 is great, but unfinished. Tara's a cheerleader, Willow's in band.

Reality Check by Sheridan like mentioned above, AU from Season 2 as well.

Hi. I've been searching for a story where Tara and Dawn are living with Buffy, but our friendly Slayer is so not friendly. Tara decides to leave, Dawn wants to go with her, but this sends Buffy into a rage and she begs Tara not to leave. Dawn figures that Buffy is in love with Tara (which freaks out the blonde wiccan out), but they leave anyway. Xander is married and is leaving too with his wife (can't remember her name). ANYWHO, Tara and Dawn go to LA. Tara finds Willow again, but surprises are all around. Willow has a child and Tara is her other mommy. I hope someone has an idea of what I'm trying to find. I also know that Faith has a big part in the fic too.

I wasn't a fan, but you can find it in either 'Passion and Perfection: buffy the vampire slayer and angel the series,' 'through the looking glass' or jasmydae's site.
I can't tell you what it's called, because i don't remember.
I'd try Passion and Perfection first.

I thought she was scrubbing the names off the apothecary, and publishing IT?

I thought the Lamb was better, if a little too sad for my taste.
The Apothecary seemed to have a universe that was a little too contrived.

Ah, I totally could have mixed up which was being published. I love them both, but yeah, The Lamb is a killer- I have only been able to read it once.
