Yay Dibs!!
I loved the costumes; very nice choice
Thanks! It took some time to come up with a viable option. I had a list that I added to for about a month, then one night I was watching Ironman and remembered Robert Downey Jr. stared in Chaplin and then thought of the Girls vs. Suites ep of HIMYM and viola! There it was.

The bathroom issue was never addressed.
Ahhh yes…sorry! It was actually just some unfounded nervous Willowbabble, but I did in fact intend to come back to it and I just…forgot! Lol
I liked Tara casually talking about knowing famous people, it's fairly realistic from what I know.
Thanks! I’m glad it worked!! One of my best friends that married the daughter of a fairly famous actor and he also owns a management co. He is always telling me ridiculous celebrity stories, so I kinda pulled form some of those.
Ah, the money issue. Not exactly a comfortable one.
Nope, and it will rise again fairly soon!
Interesting word choice, as I'm prone to use the more generic "sex" or (or "fuck") when talking to someone to whom I have not declared my love. (Okay, technically, I personally never use the phrase "make love" when I am the subject of the verb, but you get my drift.)
Ok, how do I explain this…yes, you’ve spent WAY too much time thinking about it! LOL But seriously, I do see what you’re getting at. Willow is in love with Tara, she may not have declared that love as of yet, but it’s there. So, saying, ‘let’s fuck,’ would have been inappropriate and saying, ‘let’s have sex,’ would have sounded cheap to her. Well, at least it would have for my version of Willow. To be honest, we really didn’t get enough dialog between the two of them in intimate settings to know what they may have said. In fact, in NMR, Willow never says what she’s going to do to ‘make it up’ to Tara…it’s just implied. So, who knows? Willow has that air of sweet nerdy awkwardness and I believe that it’s entirely possible that she used that phrase. Or…I’m just a dorky romantic and it worked for me:)
BTW…Stop! You’re making me think too much! lol
Thanks for the feedback!!!
zampsa19752001:
I’m glad you liked the outfits! It was fun thinking up different ones that would work. Not to worry, nothing bad will come of the ‘Midler Incident,’ except that Bette will never forget Willow, lol.
Thanks for the feedback!
Promthea128:
Nope, no bad cliffhangers! Enjoy the next chapter:)
Thanks for the feedback!
SMGOVAN:
Will tonight be the night? Or, are you being a big ole dirty tease?
Wa ha haaaaa…!! *Twists Mustache* Would I do something like that?
I loved the "Pat" reference and the 'Midler incident' !!.... I love your humor.
What can I say? I’ve been watching Saturday Night Live since grade school and my first comedy record was Richard Pryor, which I had to hide under my mattress because of the R rating…so the humor is ingrained!!
Willow's reply about being "Finey mc .."..shameless self promotion
I don’t know what your talking about…
Thanks as always for the feedback!
Laragh:
I love the first two paragraphs. I know they were really just filler
“I think this line’s mostly filler” Sorry, I couldn’t resist, lol.

Willow as Charlie Chaplin? Priceless!
HIMYM…Girls vs. Suits, lol and a Chaplin was born!
Eek, I see the money issue cogs starting to turn in Willow's brain. I know it's one of those major issues in relationships, but this is one of those situations where she's just gonna have to accept that Tara has money.
I don’t think the full effect has hit her yet, although this swank party was a good indicator of, not only the money issue, but the crowd that Tara runs with as well. I mean, we’re talking A-List celeb and A-list moola!
Now, I've never kissed a boy, so I have no actual experience to go from here, but to quote/slightly paraphrase Portia De Rossi, “I don't know how those straight ladies do it.” I mean, beard burn, seriously.
Hahahahaha…I have this conversation with my straight bf ALL the time! I’m with ya sister!
Thanks the feedback!!!
wayland:
That was a great chapter. I smiled the whole way through it.
THANKS!!! It really was fun to write and probably everyone’s secret fantasy.

The Charlie Chaplin costume was a master stroke. A chance for Willow to experience full-on celebrity glitz without finding the paparazzi camped on her doorstep next morning.
It also works as a way to ease Willow into Tara’s world. It’s been Tara’s way of life forever, to her al the glitz and glamour is ‘normal.’ Willow is not a stranger to being photographed or attending events, but the world of college sports vs. A-List celeb…very different. Also…Willow is used to being comfortable, ie: Sweats & a T, where this world she is going to have to eventually have to make some consessions. Something she’s REALLY going to have to embrace at some point, lol.
Hahaha…I love Willow. She’s adorable with her little quirks.I love the way Willow is so unself-consciously star-struck.
She basically thought that she didn’t care, after all she didn’t even recognize Tara when they first met, but she is finding that it really IS a big deal. As always…thanks for the feedback!
beautiful love:
And I'm totally able to picture Tara as this huge celebrity. I didn't know how you were going to pull that off but you have done a great job. Can't wait for more.
Hey, thanks! I really appreciate that!!
Thanks for the feedback!
Ariel:
How can anyone not like the Divine Miss M?
It’s a mystery to me! Although, during the holidays when I play ‘Cool Yule,’ my assistant rolls her eyes a lot, but fortunately, there is nothing she can do about it. That’s why it’s good to be the boss!

Shameless self-promotion
*coughs* What?
Here’s a tribute to your great writing and our love for Tara. How do I know that Brad and Angelina are on the up-and-up? Because Tara (and Shel) told me so!!! Seriously, I believe you!
Well, that’s what I’d like to believe is true, lol.
Thanks as always for the feedback!!!
LonleyTara:
THANKS!!!!!! More
to come!! Thanks for the feedback!!

I like how they were able to talk about how they were okay with it being that way for now.
The reality is that, even though they would like to be out, it’s going to wreak havoc on their lives in many ways. So, they are actually ok with being in right now and easing themselves and those close to them out. As all of us know…coming out is a process. Although they are out to many people, being out to the world is entirely different.
I also loved how Tara introduced her as Will to some, and "my girlfriend, Willow" to the people she knew she could obviously trust (AKA Brad and Angie -- too funny).
LOL – I kinda felt like if W/T could be honest with anyone, it would be these two. I mean, with all the crap they have to put up with, they are the last people on earth that should be giving up other people’s secretes. Plus, it really shows just how high on the A-List Tara really is if she is going to dinner with Brad & Angie!
And now we see the money thing a bit, and I really hope they can not let this be a huge issue. As long as they trust each other, it's just common sense. Tara has oodles of money and she knows in her heart that Willow isn't with her because of that. Willow will be the one who might feel awkward but I hope they find a way to work through this delicate subject.
Ahhh yes…this seems to have struck a cord and has been mentioned in almost everyone’s feedback of this chapter. Which goes to prove that it’s the #1 point of discord with couples. It will continue to appear through out this story and will effect Willow and Tara differently. It may even cause angst! Lol
But oh, what a lovely cliffhanger. Willow is a whole lot more romantic than most people. It makes me realize that my normal phrase of "Ya wanna make out?" isn't quite up to par.
Hahaha…read my reply to BeMyDeputy, she brought this up as well. I know what your saying I NEVER say it either and tend to say something dopey, lol.
Thanks for the feedback!

THANK YOU!!!

THANKS!! I think you’re going to like the next chapter!!

Sorry it took a snow day to get me feedbacking this update.
Ah yes, the “snow day” with no snow! At least not over here…just a lot of ice and bored kids.
I love that Willow asked about the ticket and Tara told her that she would need a check for $25,000. I mean, really that's the only way to handle such a huge discrepancy. If it was like $150 you could have Willow trying to figure out how to manage it but $25,000 is like forever of income for a college athlete since they can't work and earn money.
The money situation is especially sucky for Willow, because of her scholarship. It’s one of the drawbacks of college sports, the college makes millions on their superstar athletes and the athletes get zip. Willow can’t make more than $2500/year and because softball runs into the summer…there’s no time to work if she wanted to. She has to rely on her parents and budget her school money carefully. So, yes the wheels are turning.
Re: Brad & Angelina. I was at the movies with my sister one day and we saw a ad for an Angelina movie and my sister was like, "I would never see that because she's a terrible, person. Just terrible. Homewrecker. Horrible." And I was sort of 1. How can you be so appalled at something that sort of has nothing to do with you and 2. How do you know the details of their relationship? I mean... whatever, you know. I like them because 1. they're hot and 2. they support gay rights and 3 they support gay marriage rights and 4. they're very outspoken attachment parents. So yay for Brangelina.
I am certainly not the authority on ‘Brangelina, but I do like them for the same reasons you do. I mean, six kids?? Any couple that can have that many kids and make it work, must be doing something right. I recently read that they won’t get married until gay marriage is legal, so yes…YAY Brangelina!!
Thanks for the feedback!!!

Wondering why I haven't read it until now.

You are a Goddess..Nuff said.

)
Oy, so Tara's okay with "coming out" AFTER meeting Willow's family? worriedness.
