Wow... This is just so wrenching. Like others have said, the concept that Tara feels she is sick is because she is defective in some way is truly painful to read.

To have a childhood clouded only by sickness and struggle... Makes my chest hurt trying to imagine it. And to be so helpless to changing the situation.

I hope Tara can throw caution to the wind and allow herself to truly live for these next six months--without fear, without boundaries.

Can't wait to read more.

I've been watching this story ut haven't had time to comment on it yet. Jeez do I feel bad! I love all your stories, they're so heart wrenching but always twisted up with the love. It really makes you feel. Thanks for the amazing story and keep it up

I kind of love you. I finished the cross not to long ago and I've never really followed up on looking at your other stories but I'm really glad I read this one. It's so melancholy and well-written that I was really sad when this didn't have an update. Not like I'm hinting at anything as I don't update regularly. But still. I'm becoming because I was trying to write this review and had to keep back-tracking. So, I am kinda hoping you'll write some more.

Donnie is such a rich character, I love it. Horrible how Tara's family is. Complicated that Ira's Tara's doctor... I hope he's not permanent, that seems too difficult & morally weird...

Your writing is also really great. You've got the misery down pat, which is bittersweet b/c I so enjoy the way you express it all. Beautiful, beautiful writing.

And I think everybody agrees that this is very Walk to Remember-esque. Except better. I'm not goign to even start on the chauvinist nature of that damn movie/book. But yes. Okay ignore this part of the post.

Tara is broken, Willow is life-full, this is going to be... miserable... but I'll enjoy reading it
