"Honey...they had to run some tests on both you and Buffy's blood before they could give it to you...and they found that you're a match...a very close match."
"How close?" Willow said, wrinkling her brow.
Okay, Summers...there's no easy way to do this...the door is wide open...just go ahead and say it.
"Will...they said we're...sisters..."
Chapter Sixty-one
Willow’s brow wrinkled…but only momentarily as she started to laugh nervously…
“You almost had me there…you guys! Hehehe…sisters…”
Tara and Buffy’s expressions did not change…
“You’re…not…joking…okay…somebody want to explain this to me…’cause I‘m not sure I‘m understanding any of this.” Willow said.
“Baby…it’s true…when they did the blood typing…they found that you and Buffy share a certain protein that only siblings could have.” Tara explained…looking to the Slayer to continue where she had left off.
“Will…” Buffy said, looking down to the floor. “…my Dad…um…”
This isn’t coming out the way I want it to! Come on, Summers…just go ahead an explain it…there’s no way to candy coat it!
Willow sensed her friend’s dismay. She reached over, taking Buffy’s hand in hers.
Buffy looked up at her sister…
“When my Mom was pregnant for me…I guess things weren’t so great between them…and he…he had an affair…and he got the girl pregnant. She had the baby…a girl…and gave her up for adoption…it was you, Will…”
Willow’s head was spinning…and this time, it was not from the drugs that she was receiving…she didn’t know what to feel…
“I know this is…a lot for you to…um…take in…I mean…it was for me, too, when they told me…or when I found out, that is…because no one really told me…you know…not my parents or anything…but I know Mom would have…if she’d known…” Buffy said, nervously…awaiting Willow’s reaction.
Buffy-babble…guess Will’s not the only one who does it…must be in the genes…
Tara thought to herself…smiling.
“You know…I used to…when I was little…pretend I had a big sister…someone to play with…someone to share secrets with…someone that understood who I really was…and when I felt lonely…or when someone was picking on me…which happened a lot, I might add…I’d close my eyes and imagine that my big sister would come in and make everything alright…”
Buffy’s heart was breaking hearing Willow talk about her childhood. She knew how painful it had been for her…and she rarely spoke of it.
“Will…I’m sorry…I wish I could have been there for you…” Buffy said, looking the red-head intently in the eyes.
Willow smiled gently “But you were…every time I’d close my eyes, you were there…keeping me safe and warm…and then, when we met in high school…I didn’t have to close my eyes any more…you were really there.”
Tears fell silently down the Slayer’s cheeks.
“You were my sister before all of this, Buffy…the blood test just makes it official, that’s all…” she said, squeezing her sister’s hand.
Buffy looked at her little sister and smiled through the tears, raising the red-head’s small hand to her lips and gently kissing the back of it.
“I love you Will…Sis.” Buffy said, a smile flashing across her face.

That was such a sweet update! 
I loved it! 
It must have been really hard for Buffy to tell what happened. I'm glad 
was there, she seemed to give them both streangth in this. It was sad when 
talked about her childhood, but when she talked about how Buffy was already her sister it was just so amazingly sweet!
