As for the song, it sorta just happened by coincidence. I decided to do the vid before I had a song picked out, which is generally not a good idea; in vidding, you almost always have to start with a specific song and go from there. Anyway, I knew I wanted to do a sappy lovey-dovey shipper vid, and I had just bought a Carpenters greatest hits CD and was listening to it nonstop, so it was just a matter of good timing. In fact, for a while I was torn between using either this song or "You're The One" (also a Carpenters tune). Eventually chose this one because the lyrics fit better; mostly due to the "magic, it must be magic" line. I was drawn to this style of music because it was sweet and romantic without being "cutesy".
More videos will appear in the future, I promise! The problem is the lack of free time, not a lack of enthusiasm.
And the next one will be dedicated to a fellow Kitten. Because she requested it.
