I heard The Middle for the very first time on the radio this sunday, so I had to download that video from Rally as well. Very nice. Michelle Branch is also a cool new artist over here, so I enjoyed watching that one too, but the real revelation for me was Alanis's "Couch". You really put a lot of thought in that one, dealing with Tara's background, Will,... Keep it up, and don't let weird copyright offending stealing sites stop ya

Really it's an issue of security and always being aware of what is going on with my website. When I see the site getting referrals from strange locations, it sets off warning signals in my head.



Distributing things through the Kitten, I can control who has access to it, to some extent.



With you get linked to by other sites, you become open to outside sources you have no control over. Also it often draws unwanted attention to your site...



I don't want to get all techno geek here and go on about ftp / www security etc. It's probably harmless, someone just wants to share the W/T goodness.



But because I work in the Computer / Internet business, it piques me on a level that would not necessarily be a big deal if I was just a fan.

I emailed them and asked them nicely to remove my links, especially since the page that's listed was trusted to the Kittens since I think I can get in trouble for allowing such open DLing of eps. This person must have gotten the site info from this board, which means we may have to worry about what gets posted.



Has anyone else emailed this person about removing links and did they respond or do as requested?

I'm really touched Rally. Mainly because watching this video reminded me of the beauty of early W/T. And it really encourages me to write more Final Exam! So it's all good...uh...I think...

Rally I just watched your latest video and it was wonderful. So many great memories of season 4 when W&T were falling in love. The song you picked plus the clips that were chosen were great. The clips flowed so well with the music, and its nice to see happier moments when they first find each other. I look forward to any future videos you choose to share with us!

I just couldn't remember from which episode one scene of the video was. It is almost at the end, and shows Tara in a black shirt and willow is wearing an orange shirt. Can somebody please tell me? THANX!

grrrr...so far I've only gotten to see Goodbye To You and just downloaded the rest (my iMac's too darn slow: work does have its advantages) except First Date. The download box keeps freezing before it even gets to 26% downloaded. This sucks. Will continue to try.

Back and downloaded! Whew, I had to clean out them dag temp folders and reboot. I also realized I had a program that takes up resourses open. (DUH)

Rally, maybe it's my pc but it just keeps freezing up so I loaded RealOnePlayer and wouldntcha know it! I said it once and I'll say it again...these vids rock!! Mind you, I didn't get to see the whole video for First Date or Virgin State of Mind due to nosy coworkers who live off of everyone's personal business..



Coworker: oh what's that? a video?

Victim: ( quickly minimizing screen) yes, anne, i-it's a video..I was just, umm, browsing for a few videos for a project I'm, uhh, working on....( a forced smile disappearing as she realized mental images were captured before approching the victim)...

Coworker: oh, uhh, were those two girls holding ha...

Victim: ( spinning her head toward anne-nosy-wench, cutting her off) yes, anne! they were summoning a spirit, practicing witchcraft...very informative stuff...( the victim finished with a wry smile spreading across her face...)

LOL- Your dialogue sounds just my conversations with my roomate- Although, since we share a room, I suppose she maybe has more of a right to know the intimate details of my life. Anyways, Rally, amazing videos. I especially enjoyed 'The Couch', great editing, great choices. Also, one can't go wrong with VampWillow. Also... OK, never mind. I loved them all. Great final clip for 'The Middle'.

I am all for torturing others with my videos, I make a habit of it. I frequently torture my roommate and her friends with my videos. I burn them do vcd's and play them on the TV, so they can't escape. bwhahahahah...



At any rate, next video is in the works, somewhat of a collaborative affair. Should be done early next week. I would have it done this weekend, but I am off to Santa Barbara to toture some folks down south.

Yeah I recently upgraded software and the rendering the software was doing in MPEG1 format was horrific. I now am only rendering in MPEG2 format, which is why some you are having problems.



I recommend whenever possible to grab the Real Media versions as they are smaller and have better audio quality than the mpgs.



Those of you who need to download the mpgs should make sure you have all the recent codecs and or upgrades for Windows Media Player. To be sure you can play MPEG2 format.
