I guess she is, being a strong, independent woman and all. Plus, it seems she has decided to let go of the past hurts and bitterness, etc. That's a lesson a lot of people can learn.

Everything from Jagged Little Pill onward is aimed toward an older audience; lyrically more mature than her previous work, and easy for teens to relate to.

She is a positive role model to those starting in the music business. She started from an early age and is still going strong at 31 years of age.
She is also a strong role model for young teenage girls, in that she is real, she isn't fake, she isn't as commercialised as, say, Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera. Her music has a strong 'take no bs from anyone' message.
