Hm....what an interesting topic....

Actually I found out about kitten from Essence....was looking stuff about Amber....and someone there mentioned kitten....eventually I found out that 1. kitten had more information about AB that Essence....2. People here nicer than over there....(don't want to offend anyone.....just what I noticed).

I joined around March 2002....but I first posted around June 2003...This board truly does have amazing people, I met here people (in RL), who now truly are part of my family....if it wasn'tt for :1. me not having a job during first months of 2002, 2. for interviews that I read with Amber , 3. delurking after MR.....don't even want to think what my life would've been.....This board really did have amazing impact on my life (even if some do tease me a lot and it pisses me off :p )

THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!

I think I joined this board in maybe... 2000? or possibly the end of 1999? - I think, under a different username. After that, I had reduced access to the internet and kind of let all my board memberships slide!

I can't remember how I heard about this place - I think perhaps I stumbled on it just Googling for stuff about Willow and Tara.

I can remember when all the rumours were on here that Tara was going to die, how we didn't want to believe them and then realised they were true... it was actually a really horrible time. I can remember I went over to Canada for a holiday (I am from the UK) and it was over there that I first read on the boards that it seemed almost certain what was going to happen to Tara. And we were all holding on for something cleverer than that, we thought for a time there was going to be a twist, but no, it really was as dumb as it promised to be.

Well pah, anyway!! I reject the nonsense on-screen ending to the on-screen W/T story and ignore all canon which upholds the death of the lovely Tara, pah pah pah! In the alternate W/T universe (i.e. not one trashed by ME), she of course lives on....

Have rejoined this board just now!!

Anyway...we both are big fans of your fanfic and fanart. and of Willow and Tara of course..

So Thank to the kitten for keeping my love extra flamey..! :applause

cant really remember exactly, but i was here when the move was made to ezboard, and was on for a good few months before that, when the site was allowed to be up...... always had a problem with loading.

How did I get here? I think I followed a link from Jossbtvs or another of little willows sites....... and thought, ' well not for me it's full of lesbo's' :lol and me being straight guy and all, but it soon became glaringly obvious that this was just about the only place on the web where W/T and the whole BtVS canon was being discussed in a civilised way...... so I stayed, and never left, even after the betrayal and demise of a once good show.

Hmmm Hello all...i just checked my kitten b-day...July 3, 2003...so i've been here a little over 2 years and what a two years it has been. I remember reading fanfiction off of like Extra Flamey and Fan Fiction.net...also on just random W/T sites... I always kept people refering to this thing called 'the Kitten'. So i investigated...kept searching...actually couldn't find a link for a good two weeks tell i did a google search(Good old google :) ) Anywyas...i haven't turned back since! I'm totally in love/obsessed with the kitten.:) I've met so many great friends/family here. It's lead me to meeting Amber and other kittens on numerous occasions. I've also read some of the best stories I've ever read on here. So in the finalle of my ramblings i would like to say Thank you so very much Moderators for starting this board, it's been a santucary and driving force in my life these past 2 years.

I began posting on the original KWBW on August 23rd, 2002. It's wierd to think that I'm coming up on my three year anniversary here, but I suppose it had to happen eventually.

I came across the board on my first hunt for fanfiction. The first piece I ever read was "Final Exam" by tommo, still sadly unfinished, which made me fall in love with this board. The comments were so supportive and interactive. Plus, once I finally found my way away from Different Colored Pens, I discovered an active and interesting general interest board.

Oh, this is such a good question it needs reviving!

I read this board for about 4 years, and I think I came here from Extra Flamey for the fanfic originally, but I stayed for the Kitten. I always assumed that the internet was a Dangerous Place where wierdos lived. Coming here has (mostly :-D ) proved me wrong, and I still love the fic, so I finally got round to registering a couple of months ago. I can't believe I held out so long! I love that everyone is welcome here, and that I get to stay in touch with the gay world, as I live in the back of beyond and am surrounded by straight people. And ex-girlfriends. Don't you just hate that...

I'm a bit of a latecomer, I didn't actually become a fan of BtVS until after the series ended. The only episode I remember watching while it was airing was "New Moon Rising", and, I'm ashamed to admit it now, I hated Tara immediately. I have a deep, longterm love for Seth Green, so the idea of someone choosing some girl over him blew my mind! Of course, I have now seen the error of my ways. :lol
After the series ended, a friend had it on DVD and insisted that I watch it. Watching W/T develop from the beginning totally changed my opinion, to the point where I haven't watched the last half of season 6 or any of season 7, preferring to live in denial. To further this, I started reading fanfic on Extra Flamey, and followed a link here.
I lurked for a little while, and didn't really get into it for about a month after registering, but one day, it just clicked. There's fantastic, open-minded people here, and discussions on a wide range of topics. Also, I'm fairly closeted in RL, so it's great to have a place where I can be open.
Yay, Kittens!

It was some time in April 2002 that Ifound this board. I'm pretty sure it was reading Final Exam that lured me in and I just fell in love with all the cool stuff here. Sadly, due to rl I don't post or even come here as much as I used to, but I still love the board as much as I did in the early days when I spent almost every day on holiday in Greece in an internet cafe just so I didn't miss anything. Thamks so much for creating this Xita. And to all the rest of you for keeping this board and the WT love alive all this time, and generally for being the wonderful people you all are! Long live the Kitten!
