Okay, I'm not sure if there is already a thread like this, but I gonna open this anyway. All day long this song has been stuck in my head:

Everyone I met today said something like "Oh, I hate mondays!". So please, give me the feeling that I'm not alone here. Post all your good and bad experiences of a monday here and lighten my day.
Mondays come straight from hell!



For me, monday is really the worst day of the week. I always seem to do something clumsy, hurt myself, upset other people and all this kind of stuff...Are your mondays the same?

My schoolday takes until 8 PM on monday... so I'm still at school... bathroombrake on the computer LoL.
I'm not usually one to skip classes unless they are completely useless... But it's almost dark and we're still in the middle of a class! it's nuts!

Gotta be going back now, before I miss something important.
But indeed, monday=from hell (at least untill my school hours change for the better)

But this is the antithesis of the Thursday thread. This is the "fuck this fucking day to hell" thread. The Thursday thread is for frolicking and making love and having fits of joyful laughter.

With my new jobs, Mondays are going to be my Saturdays, so it's going to be a celebration every Monday. Somehow, no matter what field I work in, I always manage to find jobs that mean working weekends. Been that way most of my life. So Mondays don't mean to me what they mean to most people.

As for Monday-related songs, The Boomtown Rats' "I Don't Like Mondays" is appropriately depressing, I think, for Mondays.

Okay...

I've been sick since Thursday.
Got, maybe, a grand total of 2 hours sleep last night.
Got up, and went to work; still feeling like crap and really tired.

I decided to stop by the bank on the way home tonight and pay on the ole credit card.
I fill out the check, turn towards the drive thru window...
Then BAM! My hand hits the car window because I forgot to roll down the window.

I know that nice lady behind the glass really tried not to laugh...too much.

I laughed all the way home. Bad Monday, but definitely funny.

It is Monday again and it was just as crazy as the last ones.

Went to the docs to get rid of my cast. YAY! Oh, well "yay" is a little much, but I was really glad. But then the doc looked at my arm and I was like ... Looks worse than last week and I still am not allowed to go to work. If the pain and the movement deficit won't improve they gonna put my arm in a cast again by wednesday.

My best friend called today though and we had a lot of fun. Today he told me for the first time, how much he loved watching Buffy and now he is reading the Season 8 Comics:.. I was like "Oh well, would never have guessed you loved the show. *sarcastic grin* You have ALL friggin' DVDs of Buffy available."!

So, it was a depressing, but also very funny Monday. Just as always.

Stayed late at work today, trying to prep the place for a class tomorrow. Still need to plan out the aforementioned class/work time, which I'll be in charge of running, since my boss is out of the country for two weeks. He just barely remembered to mention that this would be happening two days before he left.

On top of that, my boss's boss (a bloviating ass) felt the need to act all snottily authoritative today. It was like he was metaphorically pissing all over the office and my boss's employees. I'd like to tie his metaphorical dick in a knot.
