I write in my journal or talk to my friends/family if I need to. Then listen to music or watch Sleepless in Seattle with a glass (or more) of wine. I just love that movie and it always gets me in a good mood. Last week I watched a slideshow of Christmas pictures of my family while listening to Christmas music and it put me in a better mood. Also, playing music (violin) helps distract my mind and think of something else for a while. I tend to get down on myself pretty easily and worry about what others think of me, so I think stress relief is an important thing to find. Someday, when I have a girlfriend, I'll have other ways to feel better.
