My favourite quote from that article -->
"She (Grace Jones) wanted to play the bass. She kind of couldn’t, but she could groove like nobody’s business on one note."

Makes me smile just typing it now.

I never knew if it was just an act or if they were the real thing, but when I heard they were still together a while back I figured it must've been for real.

Prince was never the same after he ditched The Revolution (although the rhythm section of the New Power Generation was admittedly pretty tight). Chemistry was just never the same. Goes to show just how important the old members like Wendy & Lisa really were.

Thanks for the link!

Sure thing.

I've never been one of those guys for whom lesbians are a real turn on but for some reason I find this fantastically hot.

Maybe because in high school, two girls named Wendy and Lisa used to recite the start of "Computer Blue" ("Is the water warm enough?" "Yes, Lisa" "Shall we begin?") to each other. I don't know if they knew they were causing pornographic movies to play in the head of a teenage boy...

Maybe because when Purple Rain was released I was, like, in the second year of my puberty.

Maybe because I still remember "Waterfall"

Maybe because I miss those pre-Paris Hilton days when attractive women wore lingerie but could also do something right...

Lisa mentions the fact that she and Wendy were lovers on the sleeve notes on the vinyl copy of "White Flags Of Winter Chimneys" album.
