Talking to people, especially on a personal level. And approaching people I'm interested in (romantically or otherwise) to try to get to know them better. I'm kind of a peoplephobe.

The cops that have been raiding some of the Occupy protests. Not say that I'm scared of cops in general, I'm a pretty big believer in law-enforcement-- at least to an extent, I think some of our laws are ridiculous but that's not the fault of the police--, but recent incidents have been terrifying examples of police brutality and the abuse of their power. Most of all it terrifies me because I've been part of protests not too dissimilair, I've seen fellow protesters get arrested, and it terrifies me to think that I could have witnessed, or worse yet been a victim of, these incidents. Makes me a little scared to even think of protesting myself again someday, much less taking my kids along when I have them like my parents took me when I was in Jr. High. There is scary, scary stuff happening out there, and it's so sad and infuriating when it's being perpetrated by those meant to protect and instill order.

I so know what you mean, that is why I stay away from the protests and things of that nature because yes while some people are there to make a good and valid point some people are there to cause trouble and especially things relating to police abusing their "power" some are genuinely good at what they do and I am not putting an all encompassing identity on any particular individuals but some do indeed abuse the power they have, we have that here too, some of them think that because they wear a certain uniform or the badge that it makes them invincible and almost super hero like but what they forget is that they are merely humans and humans can make mistakes too.
for my part I really dont like rats, like pet rats are fine sure but rats generally creep me out there's something about their long tails...

Hey, SSL - I know what you mean about the rat tails - I had pet rats and those strangely agile spiky little tails were kinda ooky!

For me I'm scared of not being able to do the things I need to do - take charge of my life and be the best person I can be.

I'm also scared of snakes and I don't really like snails and slugs much either!

I love my mum but she hasnt made the best choices when it comes to love, when my mum went through bad things with my dad she was so devastated by what he did she didnt eat and my sister had to buy her some special stuff, what with her injuries she nearly died as well as the not eating part. I am not eating right now, I can barely keep food down. I get through my days as best as I can but I have no desire to actually do anything. I am a shell of who I was. I dont want to end up like my mum i the sense of letting things get to me too much but I fear I am halfway there....
