I stopped drinking coffee completely about a year ago. I was not a regular coffee drinker that I gotta admit but this was a great detoxification all the same... Which brings me to these personal words of wisdom: you really don't need coffee for pushing yourself to experience pleasure or energy :)

Love,

Hello Kittens-

I've been drinking coffee since I was ten, and my preferred style is still drip, light to medium roast, with milk. The occasional sensual mocha or Americano rounds out my selections. However I married a tea drinker who never pollutes the wonder brew. Just my 13 cents (adjusted for inflation).

Oh coffee how do i love thee? Let me count the ways...

I only recently became part of the coffee culture (around a year ago) after having a sudden craving for a latte. I have absolutely no idea where this craving came from as i hadn't really had coffee before then, but hell i'm thankful for it! Just a short black with a dash of milk will do me! I'm a baker, so i'm up at the crack of dawn and i swear sometimes the only incentive to get up out of my "evilly comfy bed of doom", is a niiiice hot invigorating cup of coffee.

So yes i agree, coffee is fantastic and we should tell all of our friends' friends and spread the joy (just incase they didn't know) :grin

Just bought some nice freshly-ground coffee. And realized that I won't have a coffee maker to brew it with when I move out.....crap.

Our office got rid of the regular coffee maker (and free coffee) and installed a Keurig (or however the hell you spell it). We have to bring our little Keurig cups in now and make one cup at a time. Yeah, it tastes good, but I'm a power-drinker and the cost adds up. Regardless, though, I'm stuck with it.

I kind of like the Tully's Italian or French roasts ... anyone have any other good recommendations?
