Yeah, I'd eat that, MKF. Never was much of a plant eater, but I'm always intrigued by people who grow their own food. Mrs. Gorn keeps trying to grow herbs and tomatoes each year, but they usually die. We do have a monstrous patch of basil growing in what is otherwise a more monstrous bed of weeds, that survived despite Mrs. Gorn's best efforts (the basil, not the weeds). But we have yet to remember to go pick it when we're cooking.

Tonight is leftover curry, and damn if it doesn't taste even better the second night!

Happy Thursday, MKF!

Hi y'all you happy Thursday people, hope life is treating you well :)

The one thing/only thing I like about walking to work in the mornings is that my brain starts to wake up and thinks weird and wacky thoughts.

This morning I was pondering over the idea if I were to change my name, what would I change it to.

Almost without conscious thought, the name Miranda P Kettlebucket popped into my head. Now, I don't know if I've heard it somewhere and its been lurking like some hideous repressed memory, or if it was just one of those moments when the synapses fire and something jumps instantly to the fore.

As I continued my reluctant trawl to work, I began giggling at all the incidences where I would be asked my name and I would reply in a very loud and clear voice "Miranda P Kettlebucket" and the recipient of this announcement would be trying very hard to keep a straight face and professional demeanour.

As you can imagine, passers-by give me very strange looks as I coughed and spluttered to cover up my fit of laughter.

At this moment, I'm thinking very seriously of changing my kitten name from PTS to MPK.

If you're reading this thread, why not leave a vote for Paint the Sky or Miranda P. Kettlebucket and help me make up my mind :)

Let's make it a tie, MKF! I'm voting for Miranda P. Kettlebucket. How could you not on a Thursday??

I have not done this in a long, long time, but it IS Thursday today. Mrs. Gorn doesn't suspect anything, but I am ... Recently Gay.

it's not thursday, but i'm posting anyway. thursday-ettiquette be damned!

hi kittens!

i've missed you all terribly. life got busy, i was studying for the bar, working full-time and spending copious amounts of time with the girlfriend. it just didn't leave much time for all of the internety shenanigans i like to get into.

but! i was laid off on monday with eleven of my nearest and dearest co-workers and have mad amounts of time now to play. i hope you will embrace me with open paws and hold me close to your kitteny bosom.

er, gross.

anyway, i passed the oregon bar, btw. finally. i was working full-time too, so i consider it my greatest feat to date. things with the girlfriend are awesome. i think i might be moving in sometime in the next few months (which is good but also terrifying since i've managed to avoid the lesbo u-haul to this point in my life).

i'm still in love with portland. it is just such an awesome city. pride was last weekend and leisha hailey's band "uh huh her" played the headlining set. tres cool.

i feel like there are high-fives needed across the board.... bosch and her splendiferous farmy treats, the gorns and their gornita, PTS and her house and name change.... oh i have missed you all insanely.

ooh ooh, speaking of farmy treats... i planted a garden this year! and things are actually going. i've actually been eating lettuce that i grew and tiny little yellow squashes and zuchini are starting to appear. it's so freakin' cool.

anyway, i'm done babbling. i look forward to seeing you kids back here for an appropriately timed thursday posting!

Hark! What light tru yonder winder shines?! Tis ktv!

Hey there - glad to see you and hear of your successful gardening. Not so much the layoff, but I'll focus on the positives - you are here!

And you seemed to have reeled in the girl. Three cheers, and best of luck with the U-Haul.

As for me - aaaaaaagh it's effing hot and humid! My farm is on a farm tour this coming Sunday and so I've been frantically trying to clean the place up. Fairly unsuccessfully, unfortunately. It's been so damned hot it's hard to get much done.

I do want to share my bat story:

Last week a volunteer came down to the field and told me that they had found a bat on the ground. Bummer, thought I - bat on the ground in daylight = rabies risk. So I grabbed my hoe, thinking to finish the poor thing off.

Instead, I discover a beautiful little bat who was likely knocked out of a tree while it was being trimmed. It looks dead, so I use the hoe handle to turn it over and discover... bat babies. So. Damn. Cute.

Turns out mom bat isn't dead, just really dazed/shocky, so I carefully put her and the babies clinging to her chest into a paper bag with some grass and something to hold onto. I find another baby on the ground and it feels a little cool to the touch, but when I pick it up its little feet cling to my thumb. Again. So. Damn. Cute. It's body is smaller than my pinky from the knuckle to the tip of my finger. Tiny. It's little chest is naked and looks remarkably like a human infants only much, much smaller. It was like holding a super preemie.

Okay, so right now you all may be thinking.. "Ewwww... bats are icky".
But mama bat was gorgeous. Turns out she was a red bat. Yes, she had the small eyed, pug faced bat look, but her fur (which covered her body and head) was this beautiful tawny red/gold. The membranes of her wings were jet black, but the lines on the wing where the bones were also had the gold fur, which looked very bright and crisp against the black.

So it's 5:30 on a Friday evening, which means the wildlife rehab places in the area are closed and mama will have to spend the night and be driven in to the rehab place in the morning. I can't do this, as I have market Saturday morning, but I convince my mother to keep the bat over night and driver her in in the morning. I staple the paper bag shut such that the bat cannot wiggle out.

However, as my mother is driving down the highway Saturday morning she suddenly found that the bat had gotten loose and was flying around the car. Yes, seriously.

Bless my mom, she just kept driving to the wildlife rehab place, went in and got someone who could help her catch the bat and then called me to tell me that the bat had, in fact, survived the night (I wasn't really expecting it to).

I love my mom.

So it looks like a mostly happy ending: three of the four babies survived (four? four? isn't that a lot for a tiny little bat?), mama was just dehydrated and overheated, and they expect to release her and kids early next week. Yippee.

Allrighty - gotta dash - Happy Thursday all!

What a wonderful bat-story! I particularly liked that image of the little bat-feet clinging to your finger. I never understood the fear of bats - aside from rabies, of course, but lots of other animals can carry rabies and I don't particularly fear them, either. The only things that bother me, I suppose, are creatures with an unnatural number of legs. Two is fine, four is fine, in some cases none is fine, too. Anything over four is right out. Bats are fine.

Alas, I have no such wonderfulness in my life today, other than the weekly wonderfulness of Thursday.

Mrs. Gorn's tummy is starting to stick out. I'm not sure that's typical at 13 weeks ... I suspect it's more the result of her outrageous appetite (she eats more than I do now), but I'm not about to tell her that.

In it's own stupid way it's been the best Thursday I've had in ages. Not because anything amazing has happened directly to me as of yet, but just hearing wonderful news for things to look forward to in the next few months make for much excitement. I wanted to post in the happy feelings but ehh, plus as all this lovely news has happened on Thursday, might as well post it here! :D :party

happy Thursday all!

No longer a fish in a bowl, but now I'm Recently Gay :)

I just had to put post 1500 in here:)

Good to see you back, ktv:)

Sorry to hear about the job situation, but congrats on the bar exam, and the good news on the romance front.

Boschi's bat story is the best damn thing I've read here for a long time. Saving a furry little family is a fantastic thing, major karma points!

Bat's are cool - I loved to watch the pipistrelles flit about at dusk when I lived in suburbs, totally amazing aerial acrobatics.

Happy Thursday :)

hi guys...

man, today is a bummer. death all around. but yay for baby bats and saving bat lives (although, i think they are kinda, very, really gross myself).

i've spent the day at my girlfriend's doing chores around her house. i've been doing stuff at my house for the past week and was getting sick of the place, so i offered to do some things around here for her. unemployment is grand. sike. on the plus side, my sugar mama is going to reward me with dinner and drinks wherever i want. and yes, i have totally tamed the little commitment-phobic beast. she's the one who wants ME to move and i'm the chickenshit. but it's awesome and we celebrated one year in april. i think this may be it.

farmer bosch... i've been growing romaine and read that it's an early summer lettuce and that i should start seeds now to have a late summer/early fall crop of a different lettuce. is there enough time to do that? any recommendations? we have been eating a ton of romaine so i'm looking forward to having some variety next time around. i was poking around in my squash plants yesterday and there were a handful of tiny little zucchinis and yellow squashes. i think the largest of the bunch were about three inches long. it's so exciting. i've got a bunch of tomatoes showing up, too, but i'm less excited about those because i don't actually eat them. i'm sure you all missed my picky eating ways! ;)

well, i'm going back to organizing the office and rocking out to the michael jackson pandora station i created (::pours a little drink on the ground for mj and sings boys II men's "it's so hard to say goodbye":: ).

hope nothing terrible happens for the remainder of thursday!

Sneaking in under the wire, MKF, but here nonetheless.

It has rained here for all but 5 days of this fine month so far and I feel a little like my soul is mildewing. But tomorrow morning Mrs. Leaf and I are setting off on a scattered-thunderstorms-be-damned camping trip with my 2 wonderful brothers. This lifts the spirits considerably. The weather is unlikely to be cooperative, but we are creative and adaptable folks, and this is the only time we could schedule the trip, and we won't be all that far from younger brother's place in Albany should we really need to bail. I'm deeply excited to get out of the city. And to hang with the brothers, who are, as mentioned, wonderful.

Boschi's bat story is magic.

Allrighty - I'm considering this thread my mopey-morning rehab. I must not be sulky on a Thursday!

That ratcheting noise you hear is me using an industrial hoist to lift and spread the scowl I woke up with.

Boschi's positive notes:

I made a kick ass pasta sauce from scratch last night. I even used fresh kick ass.. ahem. Seriously, I had a bunch of tomatos with dings and dents, some fresh savory, onions, much pepper and a little orange zest. I cooked it down for a good long time, then added (I know, this is weird), a tin of smoked oysters.

Damn it was good. I just had some leftovers and must admit it made me feel better.

Ah, food.

On a vaguely related note, does anyone else out there think that the little orange "Hunger" puppet in the Weight Watchers commercials would be an awesome best friend? He (It?) (She?) is 1) Orange 2) Small, furry and cute 3) Has great eyebrows 4) Is always bringing over tasty food (usually presenting it through a great slapstick routine).

I want one. We could just hang out, do a stupid dance occasionally and eat. My dream date.

it's a wonderful day! Thankfully this wonderful day happens to be Thursday! The weather is PERFECT so we're taking a family trip down to the beach! I dunno what beach but it's 2 hours away! I'm pretty thrilled as I haven't been to the beach properly in ages! We're staying the night at a hotel and my friend and I get to have some alone time while the rest of the family sees a Pirate dinner show down in Buena park. Free Wifi! I'm excited so of course I'm packing up my Ipod Touch and laptop.

Hope everyone else has a great Thursday as well! :D

Happy Thursday, kittens!

I've been quiet around here lately, though I have been reading and catching up every couple of days. As I am a State employee, we have off work tomorrow since the American Independance Day holiday falls on a Sat. I'm looking forward to this for no particular reason, just a nice long weekend.
I liked the bat story, btw *g*
Although my wife and I watch 'BtVS' most anytime, Thursday has become sort of a date night, usually ending with W/T goodness, so that's another reason I'm glad it's Thurs.

A lot folks might have the wit to say something like this ... but Boschi is the only one I know who MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE an industrial hoist to back it up.

Hard, hard Thursday, MKF ... I'm weary. Mrs. Gorn won't be home till around 11 o'clock, and I can't eat until then. Well, technically I could, but we've gotten into the habit of eating dinner together every night regardless of our schedules. Quite a good habit, granted, but it requires more discipline than I typically possess. I think I'm gonna go make some popcorn.

Oh, I love popcorn!

I, too, have Friday off, making this one of the best Thursdays ever!

Hope the weather holds for any and all American Kittens celebrating their independence this weekend with a good, old-fashioned backyard barbeque!

woo! thursday!

how are all of you lovely kittens this fabulous thursday? okay, maybe this thursday isn't all that spectacular, but it is thursday and that is enough.

i'm trying to get motivated to get on with my day. i've got some cover letters to write but also want to take advantage of the fact that i've got use of the girlfriend's car today. i recently learned to drive stick as my girlfriend has a 5-speed mazda tribute. she's one of those weird people that think automatics are a totally inferior driving experience. i'm of the mind that i use a car to simply get from point A to point B and therefore shouldn't have to work so damn much to do so. but since i don't have a car and she did all of the driving, it sort of became time for me to suck it up and at least learn how (plus she was really tipsy one night and i didn't want her driving). anyway, i've totally gotten the hang of it and am allowed to take the car out unsupervised. so i think i'll run some errands and take the car to get washed for her (we went camping last weekend and it's kind of a disaster right now). i've got to pick her and the dog (who goes to daycare) up early though for a vet appointment. i totally feel like a housefrau.

anybody watch the michael jackson service on tuesday? i'm not quite sure why, but this has been such a bummer for me.

i think i mentioned this to gorn in a PM or something, but my girlfriend has mocked me mercilessly for being a buffy fan since we met. when we started talking about living together she was adamant that my framed and autographed OMWF poster could not be displayed anywhere in the house. she questioned my sanity and coolness. BUT in exchange for agree to work up to a 10-mile hike by the end of summer (i did 7 miles about two weeks ago) she agreed to watch the entire series. now, we'll have had a long day, gone out, done fun stuff, and then when i'm ready for bed she'll be like "so why don't we watch a couple of episodes?" all sheepish-like. she claims she doesn't like it per se, but is caught up and wants to know what happens. i'm still going to claim that as a victory. she still thinks my poster is ridiculous but will allow it in an office or the den. baby steps, right?

anyway, hope everyone's thursday is a rockin'. i'm going to do some weeding and snag some squash out of my garden for dinner and then go cruising!

Yah - same with my oh-so-superior chicky.

she questioned my sanity and coolness.

Mainly I just got eyerolls and snarky remarks about how young I am. The questioning my sanity and coolness is more an everyday thing, unrelated to Buffy. :)

now, we'll have had a long day, gone out, done fun stuff, and then when i'm ready for bed she'll be like "so why don't we watch a couple of episodes?" all sheepish-like. she claims she doesn't like it per se, but is caught up and wants to know what happens. i'm still going to claim that as a victory.

Exactly! One night she had trouble going to sleep and wanted a DVD to watch. That was a couple months ago. She just finished watching the final episode last week. For a while she could'nt find the final disk and thought that the episode where the Slayerettes and Faith boot Buffy from the house was the finale. I got this forlorn phone message "Please tell me this isn't the last episode....". What a gotcha - I thoroughly enjoyed it and have mocked her rather ruthlessly since.

At anyrate - it's an okay Thursday for me. I'm just about to do a little housecleaning, but had some fun digging potatoes and garlic this morning. Mmmmm... garlic. I'm thinking I should crank up the oven despite the heat and roast some of that garlic. Drool.

I leave you with that image.

Good Thursday all.

Busy day, but wanted to stop by. Haven't seen Foomatic around here in forever, but noticed in the Happy thread that she is pregnant. Marvelous news - can't wait to see pictures of her ascending telephone poles with a baby bump.

Still contemplating possible names for Kitten-spawn - both gorn's and Foo's. I have to say Gornita really is up there, but all the Foo-oriented names I come up with have a suffix beginning with "L", which means "fool" in the name - unfortunate. Granted, "Foolina" is a good one, but also sounds a bit like "Fooling ya", which is, I suppose, what I'm doing.

I don't know. I'm not terrible clever, or even coherent this morning. Shrug.
Take it or leave it, it's what you get today.

The first session of my CSA finished up yesterday, and everyone seems happy, which was nice. I'll have a couple cancellations for Session II, but for reasons-not-my-fault, which is okay. I also read a neat article in USA Today about the upswing in young, organic farmers. Had some good, down to earth facts and was a nice reminder that there are others out there doing this same, insane thing.

Speaking of... must away. Happy day, all.

Hey all, how's your Thursday's going?

I've been having a real relaxing day - no work at all for this kitten - busy doin' nuthin' :)

My week has been busy though - finally completed the paperwork on the house I'm buying, picked up the keys last Friday (how I wished it had been Thursday, but some of the paperwork got held up in the post).

Spent the last three days knocking through walls, ripping up the very hideous carpets which covered every available inch of floorspace and knocked the hedges into shape with a little clipping.

Hard work, but fun - especially knocking the wall down!

Things are on hold for a bit though - I need some work done that I can't do myself - there is a bit of a problem with the damp-proofing, and possible woodworm - both need specialised treatment, but as Northern Ireland shuts down for two weeks in July, I can't get hold of anyone in the building trade until after next week.

My cousin gets married on Saturday, so I've been told to prettify myself up for that. It's not as bad as it sounds, just means I can't wear my jeans to the wedding - I did promise to iron them, but the bride's mother insisted on a no denim rule - lol. But I am shoving a pair of Converse in my bag, damned if I'm going sit in heels all day!

I'm thinking it's time for food - I'm getting an urge for a grilled bacon sandwich with mature cheddar cheese on white bread - not healthy, but to hell with that when it's the taste that matters :)

Have a good one!

I don't really have time for this today, but MKF gave me such a foul look for missing last Thursday ...

Half my team is out on layoffs this week and next week, including my boss. I thought they all just sat around on their asses all day, but since covering for them I'm discovering otherwise. This economy needs to turn around pretty soon so I can go back to sitting on MY ass again.

I have a production report on my desk that lists "wildlife" as a cause of down-time. Ah, the perks of living in Kentucky!

Back to work now.

Oh hell yeah, wildlife is a serious down time ... uh.. causer thingy.

I see the damn deer I get depressed at this point.

Well, the weather is perfect for field work and here I am inside in the middle of the day. That's okay though - I have an old friend coming into town to help me tomorrow and I made good money at market last Saturday. Bless the tomatoes. I may spend hours and hours tending and harvesting a whole bunch of different veggies, but it is the tomatoes that keep me, well, at least approaching solvent.

O, I had all sorts of interesting things I wanted to share this Thursday and they have all flown from my mind.

PtS - Congrats on the house! One story? Two? Yard? Sun? Very exciting.

No, not deer. Heard it was a squirrel. Although deer in the plant might've been more entertaining.

Tomatoes are great. You can make sauce. I love tomato sauce so very much ... but the other day Mrs. Gorn made tomato sauce with eggplant and zucchini. It was probably well-made, but oh, how I loathed it! BIG nasty chunks of vegetables. Got halfway through my pasta and declared I was full. And Mrs. Gorn laughed at me. She laughed at me and told me the leftovers were going to be dinner tomorrow ... which is now today.

The catch here is I am not allowed to complain or make a face at any point.

I wasn't about to waste a perfectly good Thursday eating horrid eggplant and zucchini pasta again, so I mashed up the bigger pieces, spread it THINLY on french bread, smothered it with cheese and hot sauce, and popped it in the oven for a crunchy pizza. Not half bad (which, by definition, implies it was only half good ...). Oh, well. Best I could do with the hand dealt me.

This may be my first glimpse of the challenges of parenthood.

howdy thurdayziens.

we're in the middle of a scorching heatwave here in oregon and i've been spending copious amounts of time this week lounging in the girlfriend's 15x4 blow up pool. we went camping last weekend to avoid the heat but this weekend looks like we will have to face it head on since we're dogsitting and having people over for bbqs and whatnot. i'd really like to just crawl into a bathtub full of ice and not come out until september, alas.

what's new with everyone? boschi's got veggies. pts has a new house. gorn and fooy have buns in their ovens (well, in mrs gorn's, anyway). there are too many new faces on the board for me to keep up (i try to categorize them by their various ailments and/or tendencies towards self-loathing but it's overwhelming), so it's nice that i can count on thursdays to stay the same.

i've been indoctrinating the girlfriend in buffy and we're a few eps into season 3 now. i realized during this re-watch that i really prefer pre-tara willow. don't get me wrong, i like w/t but i just think young, goofy willow is ridiculously entertaining. i know i'm probably in the minority but it was an interesting realization to come to. i thought "oh god, does that mean i have to leave the board? am i violating some sort of tos honor code?"

anyway, peeps, i hope you are all having a fabulous thursday. i've got to get back to writing a cover letter and hiding in the basement where it's nice and cool.

happy thursday!

You basement-dweller, ktv!

I started watching Buffy from halfway through S4, so I know what you're saying about pre-Tara Willow. W/T was and is the highpoint of the show for me, but I was overjoyed to go back and discover just how good the show was right from the beginning. The first time I saw "Restless," I was kind of shocked at Willow's appearance in her dream ... but when I got to that point again after watching the series from the beginning, it was like, "look, it's the old Willow!" Almost nostalgic. Put her in those clothes, you knew exactly what she was feeling.

No malice intended towards ktv, but this has been the most beautiful summer since I moved to Kentucky. Cool, breezy, a little rainy sometimes, but it's nice after the brutally dry summers we've been having. Everything is lush and green. We turn off the air-conditioner, throw open the windows and turn on the ceiling fans. I am by no means a summer person, but I wish I could bottle up this summer and save some of it for next year.

ktv, I have missed you.

You reminded me of days spent in a cold bath during one particularly brutal heat wave in Maine (Maine? Maine? They have heatwaves in Maine? Yes - a full week of 100+ back in... '97? '98? '99?)

I too must report that this summer has been bizarrely cool here in K.C. I'd worry about incurring your wrath, ktv, but I suspect you won't stir from the kiddy pool.

As far as W/T, pre-T W, etc....

I have to say that rewatching the whole series after reading some excellent fics here reminded me that I actually (please don't kill me everyone) didn't really like Tara at first. And I think I had good reason - it disturbed me that the character was blatantly presented as "damaged goods" and that much of the W/T relationship as presented on the show was this sort of rescue/repair affair. I dunno - I get annoyed at lesbian relationships that are prefaced on pathology. To me, it kinda of says that lesbian relationships are the result previous psychological trauma. Not that love doesn't sort of "rescue" us all, but I don't really want my relationship to be viewed as a coping mechanism. Ick.

Right... tangent. On another: Anybody here watching "Warehouse 13"? The gf stumbled on to it online and I found myself watching the pilot, thinking, "This feels like a Buffy episode". Then the credits rolled and I noticed that Jane Espenson was a creator. Go figure.
Don't confuse me with your reasonableness.

After three days of Monday, Thursday is a mighty welcomed break ... We've got more work than people, and right around, oh maybe MONDAY I came down with a wicked cold. And on the home front, Mrs. Gorn has banished me to the guest room until I get better. Bummer, but I know where she's coming from.

One week from today - on a Thursday - we'll learn whether our little gornling will be El Gorno or La Gornita (the n's ought to have that squiggle over the top, but I don't know how to type that). If it's a girl, I wanted to name her Miss Kitty Fantastico Gorn, but I couldn't sell Mrs. Gorn on it. Too bad.

I'm gonna go drink lots of fluids now.

It's a double-post Thursday, MKF!

We learned today our little gornling is going to be La Gornita! She was extremely vigorous during the ultrasound, twisting every which way and wiggling her little fingers and toes. Damnedest thing I've ever seen. To be perfectly honest, though ... she looked somewhat like a little Alien incubating inside Mrs. Gorn. Ultrasound is a very weird medium. She was very physical, though - I'm thinking maybe more of a Buffy than a Willow. We'll see.

This is probably the very best Thursday I've ever had in my life.

Good morning all,

It's been a weird, hard, confusing summer. Had some serious big badness (like the kind where when your wife tells you in a shaky voice over the phone that "something bad" happened, for the first time in your life all the worst case scenarios that you immediately run in your head don't actually even come close) hit a dear friend of mine who lives on the other side of the country. It's been strange and disorienting to process that from so far away. The whole thing has made me really itchy for fall, as though the change of season will turn some kind of magic page and everything will be ok.

And then, of course, because some good shit inevitably butts it's nose into your bad mood/despair/funk, there have been some lovely summer moments too. I discovered New York's public pools, of which there is a huge and awesome one a mere 10 minute bus ride or 40 minute walk away from my apartment. The container garden on my little back "porch" rocked out and was like disney land for bees which was very fun to watch. Especially the broccoli flowers. Who knew? Mrs. Leaf and I have managed to catch a very respectable amount of all the free music and theater and artsyness that happens here in the summers. Some of it has been great and some has been terrible, but all of it has been fun to go to cuz, heck, free. And I've started running, which I am totally crap at so far, but I think the discipline of it is good for me. Mrs Leaf and I desperately want to get a dog, and I think the whole getting up earlier than you want to for some morning exercise thing is good prep for that.

Happy Thursday to you all,

-Leaf

*loves this thread and wants it to be Thursday*

I remember the days when you had to get up super early to make the MKF thread because people always had something to post about! Ahhh the Kitten: such a big part of so many people's lives! :peace

Hey all, how's life treating all the good Thursday folk?

My Thursday has been a sweet one. The house that I bought back in July is finally ready to move into. I first viewed it on a Thursday, the paperwork to finalise purchase would've went through on a Thursday if the damn postal service was better, but best of all, it's finished on a Thursday.

Spent the best part of the morning sitting in the early autumn sunshine, reading DLLine's fine work of fiction while listening to the carpet fitter put the carpets down in the bedrooms.

Moving in tomorrow is the part I'm not looking forward too - I should have been packing all week but sort of got distracted and sidelined by anything that appeared more interesting. Ack, it means I'll be more ruthless with the keep and discard piles - I can see the local charity shops (goodwill) getting lots of donations!

I better get to bed, there's a long hard day ahead with an early start to catch up on my procrastinating.

Keep the faith, Thursday Dudes!
