Yes I do!

If you practise a different believe from your family, what is that believe and what made you want to have that believe?

I am a wiccan and my family are Christian's. I was 15 when I stared researching it and it all just fell into place, it is my spiritual place like for my soul, I was just walking around my mum;s garden once and I just thought about how at peace nature made me feel and how there;s a balance to all things in life...not a very good way of describing my feelings but It is a part of my everyday life and I embrace the spiritual side of myself.
If you could be any woman for a day whom would you choose and why?

Interesting question. For quite a long time my wife and I argued frequently, sometimes daily or more. But lately we're doing really great and have gotten along well. So I guess my most recent "argument" was trying to get my son to stop kicking the mirror while I changed his diaper. Other than that, no.

Do you remember the name of the first person you ever kissed?

Yes, actually I do remember. His name was Seth. Which now strikes me as a little weird because that is my stepsons name.

This one is definitely a lame question but its all I can think of. Who in the entire world, living or dead, would be considered your idol, or has the greatest influence on you? And not someone you've ever met.

Re: Getting to know you . . .

Postby Boschi » Tue May 01, 2007 7:17 pm

I'm sure there are many folks who are not related to me that effected the world I live in more, but I also think that we all go through this world as products of our genes, our families and their history. So for me the answer would be my fathers maternal grandfather (C.A. for the purposes of this post).
He just looms very large in family history and so many of the characteristics that I associate with myself, my father, and many of his relatives are explained or described as "just like C.A.". I never met him but he is a ghost in my life I will never be without. Being just like him isn't necessarily good, or bad. But it entails some behaviors and outlooks that make one stick out a bit in the world, in an almost antagonistic way.
So between the genes I share with him, and the bullheaded pride in them that I've sopped up from family during my life, I am an expression of him.
Definitely a huge part of my identity.

Q: So how about you (whichever you answers) - what family ghosts have shaped your identity?

Man, I love this thread. I'm addicted because there are some really great insightful questions that make you think. Mine would be my great grandmother. For much the same reason as yours except I did know her. For a short time because she died when I was very young, but I inherited a lot from her both before and after she died. I have her fiery Irish temper as well as her usually gentle spirit. I also have her knack for shall we say reading other people very well. She taught me everything I know about who I am, and how to be secure in that. Shes a great force in my life even today because so much of who I am, blood and bone, came from her, as well as the way I think and feel and react.

What is the most life-altering moment you have ever had?

Ah, met in person, there would only be one I've met. Talked to online? That would be you dear friend. As an author? I would have to say I haven't really talked to any that much.

Is there anyone on the board you would like to get to know better?

(Posting in this thread is what happens when its late and you are bored and have way too many questions roaming around in your head) Um, definitely Unexpected Consequences and Milestones. Really only because I am so dying to see what that sanctuary looks like.

Okay, say you had a chance to be an actress in a show with Amber Benson and things started to heat up between you, but you were in a serious relationship. Would you take a chance and cheat, or remain exclusive?

I feel so much like an idiot because I thought that's what it was but still had to ask you for the answer. Duh me. It was to get pregnant and it worked, Willow did.

Okay, have you ever fallen completely in love with someone that never really existed? (i.e. a character on a tv show) And does that carry over into the person itself who acted in said show, or created said character?

So easy, she took off her soaking wet robe, threw it on the fire, and then hacked one side of the stand so that the pit turned over and almost snuffed out the fire. And seeing as its the getting to know you thread, we will change the subject off fictions. Though they are good at testing knowledge.

As tempting as wanting to was, and I did think of it a lot, possibly wanting to be, I never truly did. It was Giles on the show who said "In the end we all are who we are" That quote stuck with me.

What is your favorite non Willow or Tara quote?

I love this one !

ANYA: '...to have sex with you whenever ... *I* want, and, uh... (walking down off the platform) uh, pledge to be your friend, and your wife, and your confidant, and your sex poodle...'

Q: What do you do when you can't bear someone ( i don't think about someone especially ?)
