What is wrong with people? What is wrong with my country? All I've been hearing about is Black Friday, black friday and black friday. What happened to Thanksgiving? People have lost sight to what the holidays mean. What it represents; or at least suppose to represent. I am not into the holidays at all. I am all about the blues during these times, but that is only because I have no familiy. Just because I have no family doesn't mean I don't know what these times are suppose to be about. How is it that I have to remind people of that, of what they truly have. Not just during the holidays, but all year round. If a person would walk just a mile in my shoes they would know the true meaning of many things. It is our greed and the fact that we have to make money that some people have to cut they're night short from their families to be at work. For what? So people can get the best deals on black friday. So people can be more rude to each other. So people can actually die or get hurt from our greed. When will this end? I hate that I even have to post this. People disappoint me. I refuse to be apart of such things.

Not this year, unless you go to bed early on Thanksgiving night. Good old Wal-Mart is starting their "Door Buster" deals at 10:00pm Thursday, more at midnight and so on...ridiculous. They've officially ruined Thanksgiving...I think it may have to be moved to Wednesday, lol.

I'm not one to follow designers but I have to say that I do love a designer perfume when I can afford it in particular D & G or Versace. However I am astounded by the prices of D & G's new Jewellery line, prices start at £1.500 shocking. In the current crisis, and all the poverty in the world, heck even UK kids some of those are not even getting breakfast due to being below the poverty line let alone Africa and places where starvation and disease is a major issue...now I am a girlie girl and I love to embrace the empowerment of that through my make up and the occasional piece of jewellery but it makes me feel sick inside the idea of parting with that much money for something as trivial as jewellery yet I know people will for the sake of a logo, a name, people wear the brand a part of them becomes the brand its as simple as that. I'm not saying I dont feel sexy when I wear my designer perfume but as long as it smells good regular ones work just as well if not better and thats the case I fear with things like jewellery. If they are gifts like my fiorelli bag then fair enough plus I know that it was from a discount store so I didnt feel too bad but at least the bag is essential in that I will use it more or less every day, earings however are in and out of style much like clothing. I treated myself to a pair of earings the other day they cost me £6.95 and for me that was enough to pay. They looked girlie and pretty and I like them, however if they had had the D & G label on the tag not only would the price had been through the roof but they would have been waaaaaaay more, it takes the p*ss how these companies because they are who they are can charge an arm and a leg, people dont need it though, yet these companies prey on those who will feel less if they dont have these things. It really gets to me how the world is so centred on cash. How many boyfriends/girlfriends are going to be putting their relationship and the value of their love on jewellery this year? hmmm....rant over.

Everyone at work is talking nonstop about Twilight and since the first movie was on TV a couple weeks ago, I thought I should give it a shot. Well, let's just say that that were almost three hours of my life that I won't get back.
