Hey Kittens,

I am a chuffed little bunny today for the simple fact I just got back from a Vanessa Carlton gig in London and it was fan-bloody-tastic! :grin

And the highlight of my day aside from the gig was also managing to acquire tickets for Linkin Park when I thought they had all sold out! Me very chuffed! :grin All I got to do now is shrink a couple of feet, get a chain for my jeans, become a 12 year old and I'll fit right in :glasses

Roll on Sunday when my gf is back from the States ( no doubt scarred and giggly from her exploits in Vegas :lol ) and all will be right with the world!

Mucho love,

~Lou

Well, the wife finally stopped making fun of my Willow and Tara obsession today. :applause

And, she helped me make my first avatar, as I have been suffering from kitten avatar envy. :wink

She even promised to help me with more in exchange for lots of hot sex. :thud I think I can handle that. :p

Dopey grin

Postby Boomstick79 » Wed Feb 26, 2003 7:15 am

Hey Kittens,

I just feel happy today - I've had very little sleep and had to sit through the morning rush hour traffic on the M25, but I got to spend the night with my gf so all is well in my little world. I've even got the big dopey grin of a smitten kitten to prove it :heart

Plus one of my best friends from uni texted me out of the blue after not hearing from him in a long while and made me smile. :) I have new music to listen to courtesy of a well-shopped out gf whilst on hols in the US, and my speakers are getting a good run for their money :smug

Of course when I get to work later I may be forced to post in the 'screw this' thread as I have a feeling I may be inclined to exact medieval torture upon a manager of mine who is the epitome of idocy and I have the joy of working with tonight (can't beat that British cynicism! ;) ) but hey ho - at the minute I'm smiling :grin

Much love to the kittens who had a shite day yesterday, hope today is better :peace

Cooking

Postby feena191 » Sat Mar 01, 2003 2:34 pm

Okay, I’m very happy, for a rather pathetic reason – I cooked tea!! :lol

I live with my mum, & I never cook, except Christmas lunch. Well, she’s broken a bone in her left foot (the 5th metatarsal) so I’m doing lots of stuff. Thursday was microwave food, last night was Chinese takeaway, but tonight...bangers & mash!!!

It only took me two hours to cook – well I never said I was fast ;) The onions took me ages to chop – I cried so much it’s painful. The onion gravy had madeira in, & crème fraiche in the mash.

Well I thought if I was going to do it I might as well do it properly!! Mum loved it :) :party

I’m moderately happy today because February is finally over. That’s 2/3rds of the devil’s triangle down and one to go. Now, if I can just get through the minefield of March unscathed, I’ll really be happy!

A happy thing to cap off an otherwise sad and lonely day.

I attempted to numb the lonliness with some WillowTarobsession, a lot of ep downloading and fic reading, so I was excited when the rerun that I had taped was from New Moon Rising. At first I saw Oz and Willow and was sad, but then I realized which show it was and that was good.

But the even more adorable part is my kitten Frank, who's taken to watching TV with me on occasion. He sits about a foot in front of the screen and stares up at it. This time, though, he wasn't content with just watching the TV - he wanted to be part of the Willow/Tara love too. Three times during the extra flamey scene, he reached his Ms. Kitty-size body up and tried to paw at the bottom of the screen.

Oh, sooo adorable. (now he's taking a bath in his water dish. . .)

Hey...

Hmm...I'm feelin' kinda mixed between really crappy and really happy...but I think I'm generally happy at the moment. I met this girl Shelly recently and we really hit it off, she's so cute, and nice, and she's a DJ. :) I find that pretty cool. :) Hmm, anyways, I won't take up too much time. COOL THREAD!

Take care

This past Friday I was lucky enough to score 7 tickets to this year’s “:bounce Summer Sanitarium:bounce ” concert at the “L.A Coliseum”. Playing will be “Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Deftones, Mudvayne. It will be my 1st time seeing The Deftones and Linkin Park live in concert. I’m just so damn happy even though the concert isn’t till August 2003. I feel so giddy like a little kid, it's ridiculous. I can be a patient Kitten:whistle . I just wont be able to sit still till it’s over, and maybe not even then. God I’m so easily amused…actually I’m just easy to please when it comes to live music. Especially of the hard rock persuasion;) . I’m gonna shut up now.

Hello Everyone.

I just got the best news. I went on an interview at a lab that runs bloodwork for various animal hospitals. I am currently a veterinary technician in one of those animal hospitals. Well, the lab called a few minutes ago and offered me a postion. It is more money and much better benefits then I have now. I have not come down from cloud nine yet. After a real crappy week last week, this is a change that I really needed. I hope everyone else has as good a day as I have.

Thanks and Shinnen, yes those who know me know that I just love an over abundant amount of smileys. *insert sarcastic voice here*

Thanks to all the kittens who had faith enough to believe in me, said a prayer and crossed their fingers.

And in being so excited about my good news, I forgot to mention that my daughter got straight A's on her report card. I'm so full of pride and joy today.

I’m happy because I’m leaving for Arizona and (hopefully) some sunshine tomorrow. The local weather might wreak havoc with those plans however, as they’re predicting a major snowstorm here tonight. Ah, just think, Thursday I’ll be in Phoenix watching the Giants and the Cubs in Spring Training.

If baseball is here, can Spring be far away?

First of all, congrats to Barb - it's cool when you get a job you really want to get and like :D

I am happy once again - this is fast beginning to scare me for I am known for my foul temper and general grumpiness at work - the managers tend to find it unnerving when I'm smiling and so it keeps them on their toes ;) I think they think I'm planning something.... nu uh me far to sweet and innocent for that :angel *sniggers*

Anyhoo, although I have to start work ridiculously early in the morning - be in for 8 am when the first film isn't until 12:20 - go figure :hmm I get to go to a gig in the evening and generally jump and down like a mad fool while rocking my socks off to Linkin Park. Marvellous! :grin

Plus it's the first gig I get to go to with my gf so I hope it proves to be the start of something groovy - gigs make me happy - and I got another one lined up on 25th March - Avril Lavigne baby - hehehehe ok god i'm beginning to scare myself now so I shall bugger off and go and moan about the weather as is customary for us Brits ;)

Hehehe - have a good day kittens,

~Lou

Sigh. I went to Tescos today. First time in almost a month. It made me very happy.

And yes, I'm also happy and content with being a sad fucker. ;)

Oh, and I'm in an insanely good mood thanks to my doctor and the wonders of modern living. Plus...I got asked out on a date yesterday. Granted, it's a chinese takeaway and a movie with my neice and sister, but you know, a girl's got to take it where she can. Besides, this is the great thing about kids growing up; we can have girls' nights in now! :)

Belated congrats to Barb!!!!

I'm in a good mood because I have a SNOW DAY. I was just about to write up my lesson plans for this afternoon when my boss called to say that Hebrew School was cancelled because of the snow. Although this does put us behind, but it's 4:20 and I have just gotten out of bed for the second time today! I really needed a day to just stay in. And my gf is feeling better so we can spend time together tonight. Woo hoo!!

I am so psyched because I finally had my hearing for the speeding ticket I get back in November. Thanks to the friend of a friend, my paperwork was conveniently "lost" and I am off the hook for the $145 charge of the ticket and the hike to my insurance that I would have had to pay for the next 3 years. It was nerve-racking, though. The appeal hearing was an open court room with about 30 people waiting for their cases and I was the first one called. Ahhh, it's good to have friends with influence.

The weather here today was absolutely gorgeous. One of my professors even let us have class outside. It was so nice. Not too warm, not too cold, nice breeze. And walking around campus, I could see the trees blossoming and there were birds chirping and it just made me all extra happy. Oh, and I have two more lectures to go to before my spring break starts and I get to go home and see my family and friends and all that stuff. So just thought I'd share my happiness! Hope everyone else is enjoying their week! :D

I'm happy also because now i don't have to give myself injections anymore and I won't have headaches or be fatigued all the time! Oh yeah, and now I can smoke pot again! :p

I am happy today because everything seems to be going well in my life. I can't really complain about the minor set backs like being on Spring Break with a ton of homework or anything. I think it's all due to the fact of the wonderful new addition to my life...my girlfriend. I find myself able to confide in her more each day as she continues to share with me. And the best part?
