Jenn,

I have the bookmark on my other computer, but I a good one I've found is either at...

http://www.lyrics.com

or

http://www.songlyrics.com

I hope one of those is correct.

Edited to add: I just realized you said you wanted to be able to type in certain lines. That site might not be able to do that. Sorry.

Jenn, just go to Google and type in a line from a song. But here's the trick, put it in "quotation marks" ;)

LadyB,

Thanks for those links. I think you have to know the name of the song you are looking for to use them though. :( Thank you.

Brian,

Ooooh, thank you! :kiss :bigkiss

I had been using google, but wasn't using quotation marks. Thanks for the tip. ;)

I'll have to remember that.

Can we put a man on the moon

And still have a need

For a place like St. Judes

Chiana and Talikaa lean towards each other. They touch upper lips, moving their faces in response to each other. They kiss lightly and move away a bit. Talikaa touches Chiana's lip with her tongue, Chiana leaning towards her again. Chiana smiles. They kiss again. ~ Farscape, Season 4: "Twice Shy"

"Invincible" - Pat Benatar

"Your faith was strong but you needed proof

you saw her bathing on the roof

her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you

She tied you to a kitchen chair

she broke your throne, she cut your hair

And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah"

Bonus points if you can guess:

1) Who wrote it

2) who did a cover of it

3) which movie soundtrack the original version is on.

Happy guessing

To answer the questions first:

1. Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen

2. Covered by many including Bono and Jeff Buckley

3. A version by Rufus Wainwright is on the Shrek soundtrack. I don't know of a soundtrack featuring the original.

so let me in now

I am ready to move

and here comes fear and resistance from you

and for once I am willing and now what?

i’ve got to wait?

these lessons are everywhere in my life

you know I never waited for anyone

and I was always right

but now I give up, I surrender

I would wait for you...forever
