What is the worst movie you've ever seen?

I hate to say it, because I love Alyson Hannigan, and she's the only reason I went to see it, but even she couldn't make DATE MOVIE any better. I can't believe I paid to see that movie in the theaters.


What's your favorite Broadway musical that you've seen live and why?

Rent, for pretty much one reason. Idina Menzel.

What is the dumbest purchase you've ever made?

WICKED!

I LOVE musical theater and have seen a ton of shows, including The Phantom of the Opera several times, but Wicked is just amazing.

It was well acted, had a great plot, awesome costume design, and the music was outstanding.

My favorite thing, however, was that my daughter sat on the edge of her seat throughout the entire show with a big grin plastered on her face and all she could say was, "wow..."

First, lemme agree on Date Movie. I just was shallow and wanted to see what kind of Julia was Alyson Hannigan playing. Big mistake.

My dumbest purchase... I once bought a phone charger for cars. We never had a car. And I knew it was for cars. Somehow the big discount made me think, "it can always be useful..." Right. Cept I don't have the same phone, nowadays.

Hmmm...Christmas '09 I gave my partner a Macbook. She says it's the best thing I ever got for her, but I don't know.



What is the best gift you ever received?

For my 27th birthday my partner planned a surprise weekend in Vegas with all our friends.

She picked me up at work on the pretense that we were going to lunch (at this place called Tara's Willow Cafe!!) but got a "call" from her mom saying she needed help because their dog got out and they couldn't find him. I was put off, but when we pulled up to the house there was a limo out front, and when I got in all my friends were there. My partner had asked my boss for the day off, and had a bag packed for me and everything.

We get to Vegas, and there's another limo waiting to take us to the Mirage. She checks in and we all climb into the elevator to go up . . . and up . . . and up . . and up . . . right to our frickin' penthouse suites with a view of the strip. Our friends holed up in one suite, while we got our own. Spent the weekend drinking, gambling, and enjoying the sun. Best gift ever.

How do you not stay mad at your significant other when they totally piss you off?
