Thanks guys, it's odd, cause this was about the board and the trevor project so I am happy about that. They wanted a pic of me and well i thought might as well put one up where I am decorated with beauty (hee Amber). Anyway, it's really just about how awesome everyone here is.

Also, petra, yes they asked me about the demographics and I said that while we had a majority of lesbian/bi women, that the board had all kinds of people here. I have always been proud of that.

How cool is this? I think I'll actually have to give The Advocate money. Hits the stands Tuesday, right? I think I might need to go get it around, oh, about 7 p.m. or so, since there's nothing on TV then.

I'm really pleased they picked this story up. I hope it motivates some folks who might not have known about The Trevor Project to get involved.

Sometimes I don't feel like a real lesbian because I haven't committed suicide. That's a quote from a 17-year-old lesbian who spoke to psychologists Glenda Russell and Janis Bohan during a research study. (Stories in the Spring '01 issue of In the Family and the November '02 issue of Utne.)

That is what this was all for.

So, xita, now that you're famous(er), are you gonna start charging for autographs? ;) Seriously, thanks. You know we're all proud of you. And you know we all appreciate what you've done and continue to do. I might have to start stalking you now.
