I was sending an email to a friend, and she's going to be moving soon. We haven't been getting along well... and you know, I was going to send her this email saying "I miss the way things used to be. Our friendship means a lot to me, and I want to see if we can salvage that. You're a great person and I want you to know everything about how I admire you."

Instead, I attached a cartoon and wrote, "Thought you might find this funny."

That's a big typo if I've ever seen one.

Hee... you're very welcome. :kiss Check your e-mail.

I can't really think of any of my other famous typos right now. My biggest problem, is I tend to leave out a letter.

So, does anyone ever wrote "I wish you were her" instead of "I wish you were here"?

:fit2

Anya: "So, I've been reading a lot about the good old 'us of A', embracing the extraordinarily precious ideology that's helped to shape and define it."

Willow: "Democracy?" Anya: "Capitalism."

This isn't quite so much a typo as it is total confusion... at least on my part.

A woman I worked with asked me about commeal. She had a recipe that had been emailed to her that asked for commeal I said that I hadn't heard of it & was she sure it wasn't asking for corn meal. I told her that sometimes people will see the rn as an m. No, she was sure it was commeal. She even did an internet search & found other recipies that asked for commeal. I told her that maybe one of the character recognition programs that you have with scanners may have read it wrong. No, no, no. I gave up.

To this day, I wonder if she ever found her commeal.

Mine isn't so much a TYPO as much as a... speecho... or a speako... or something. Well, it was something I said instead of typed, coz I type so badly that my list could go on forever.

Anyways, I was saying something about... the Hiemlich maneuvre... and it came out... the... ummm... Hymenlick... and it still took me a good 5 minutes to notice. Still can't say Hiemlich...

But, yeah, my typos arn't really that funny... mostly consisting of stuff like... lveo yuo abby...

My biggest problem tends to be making the last letter one one word the first on the next instead lik ethis :p Two typos in one lol

My most recent typos, I said "hoefully" when i meant hopefully and "np" instead of no...Vero's typo-ness has worn off on me :p

One that comes to mind that I notice the most is when someone sends me a message and I mean to say "one sec" it comes out "one sex" and I'm way too quick on sending it.

One that I've noticed on a few occassions in chat. Not that I'm happy about it but I've been typo'd as urine instead of Urnie. Makes me kinda pissy. :P

I know I occasionally type goof instead of good.

I remember telling an ex something and he (yes, I mean he. lol) typed back "That's wonderfuk!" instead of "That's wonderful!"...

I was pissin' myself laughing for days!

I once worked in the finance section of the local county council. One day I was putting some letters in envelopes for the post, and noticed that one of the typists had mis-typed the title of the boss - County Finance Officer, leaving the "o" in county out. Lucky I spotted that one!

I am often writing to Warwickshire County Council, although before the spellcheck kicks in, I am often writing to Warwickshite Cunty Cuncil.

And it makes me laugh out loud. Every. Single. Time. Sad muppet that I am...

Sadly, due to my best friend's definite lack of internet connection (since last august! :happy ) I don't have anything new to add. This doesn't mean that I don't typo anymore, I just do it in italian. :-D

Not exactly a typo, but it kills me every time I think about it:

A newspaper in my city didn't plan out their front page very well. Two main stories ran, but because of some poor design the headline for one seemed to refer to the photos of the other. I realize the headline is not funny, but... but... together? Oh, yes.

Headline: Man convicted of shaking son to death.
Photos: A local baseball star and an image of the bobble head doll that looks like him.

Doh.

this obnoxious, highly incompetent legal intern at my work (she's a year behind me at school and we don't know how she got my boss to offer an internship to her) wrote a complaint a couple of weeks ago alleging that an employee who worked at the "pubic wharehouse" was discriminated against by her employer on the basis of her sex.

it's still being passed around the office. she's such a twit.
