My ring fingers are longer than my index fingers by less than half an inch. What the hell does that say, I wonder? I had relatively decent dexterity when I played saxaphone, clarinet and piano. Which was odd considering how short ALL of me is (5' even and little midget hands apparently).



My fetish for hands goes back for a long time and I'm not entirely sure it has anything to do with me being gay (but for all I know it could...where's Freud when you need him?) Something about long, sensual fingers with neatly cared-for nails. And then there are the small, somewhat masculine fingers that have been roughened by hard work. Hands can just tell so much about a person (listen to me....I sound like some techie on CSI)...my hands are short, calloused and you can tell I bite my nails. They also have a fair number of scars from when I was working in kitchens and have been in accidents (two prior broken fingers on my left hand that STILL don't work...and I'm left handed! plus scars from when I ripped a phone off the wall....seven stitches...don't ask ) I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's possible women (gay or straight) have a thing for hands because it's like trying to get to know a person without having to use many words. It's complicated but exciting.

I've always noticed the hand thing...but I'm very hand oriented. This thread actually made me think about the first time my girl and I really started to let our attraction for one another manifest itself in a physical way (not counting the day she stayed attached to me when I wore a corset and black miniskirt and black fishnets and gartbelt to school.... oohhh I'll never forget that look on her face). We had what many of our friends have termed hand sex, lots of caressing each others hand, moving our fingers slowly over the others *gulps and fans herself* ^_~. right in the middle of the auditorium *gasp* . I really wonder whoever came up with the idea to study finger length in relation to a person's sexuality, what is the point of it anyway and did they get paid to do it.



Anyway, the hand touching does seem to be a thing WT excel in. Not just that but they seem to have a thing for knees and elbows as well, especially Willow, she always seems to be touching Tara's knees and elbows, especially early on in their relationship. Tara caught up later and seems to prefer playing with Willowhand. It comes so natural to them, bless em, it is fun spotting every single touch, although, by the time I got to watch it had all been spotted for me.

Hey, my ring fingers are longer than my indexes too! My gf's too! WooHoo! Hmmm...my gf and I are same height, same weight, size...everything. When I put my hands to her, palm-to-palm, my fingers are distinctly longer than hers. She has thicker fingers though. Haha...even though we're the exact same height, everthing of mine is longer than hers - arms, legs, fingers, toes. That's interesting.



We intertwine fingers a lot when we go to sleep at night and when we are driving in the car. Even when we are just walking around (who cares who sees). We're defintely hand people too. I heard in a study that people who fall asleep holding hands mean a healthy and strong love. But if they wake up still holding hands, it might mean they are kinda needy or dependant.. But this is just a study, I'm not sure if it's really scientific.. ! These days they do study on everything.

I remember hearing about this a while back and it really struck me because my ring fingers are both a lot longer than my index fingers and I'd always thought that was unusual.
