ok its offical, there is gonna be a Nebraska/Midwest coffee klatch. When Is a good time for the rest of you? I would cheerfully act as the go get girl and start taking names. I'm thinking soon, before the spring/summer con season starts and my schedual get filled up. Any Saturday works for me.

Well, I am in souther cal and I am always up for a gathering. Currently a good chunk of us are planning to get together in Santa Barbara for Amber's signing. Actually it would be good if we knew who else was planning to go to that and see how many people are interested. But if that doesn't sit too well there are other days. This would be April 27th.

I wanted to post a little notice about a meet we had here is Sydney for HDC'ers on the weekend, as some HDC'ers post here and Bones posts often here, I thought it was kinda appropriate to post in the "Kitten Meets" Thread (http://pub107.ezboard.com/fthekittenthewitchesandthebadwardrobe36671frm1.showMessageRange?topicID=65.topic&start=141&stop=145 ).



I found the old thread which was imported from the old board, but when I went to add a reply, it looked like it was creating a new Thread, so I didn't go ahead with it.



So question is: Is that what happens and if so, how you get around it?

A few bits of information that together is worth a post.



Firstly, the pictures from my previous post have moved, you can find them here (www.zandramas.com/board/v...start=15).



Secondly, there is a Convention this weekend. Best of Both Worlds (15). It is at the Millennium Hotel in Sydney. The guest od honor is Nicholas Brendon. Unfortunately, Mercedes McNabb (Harmony) pulled out.



I just wanted to see if any Kitten's are going. Bones and I are meeting out in from of the Hotel at 8am Saturday morning. We will be wearing HDC T-Shirts so if you see us, come on up and say hi.

Has there been any thought about having one big get together? With over 800 members on the Board it would be quite a blast. I know it would probably mean people travelling to LA, but with enough notice (say six months) I would try and save the money to get there (and I'm in little old NZ).

I would love to see ASH, but I think that £45 a day (or close to) is a bit much to ask. I can't remember who else was going to be there but I remember at the time I wasn't that interested in seeing any of them (apart from ASH of course!)



I just can't afford that for like an hour of ASH. I'd rather save up more and go to the big Xena convention in London in the Summer. A lot more interesting guests going to that one.



If ASH does any signings at FP tho' we will be there.

I'm just wondering if any NYC area kitties want to get together to go to a Power game. It's pretty easy to get there on the LIRR and there are shuttle busses from the Mineola station to the stadium. Or my gf and I may be able to borrow her parents minivan for the day. There's a game on May 5 at 7:00 we're going to go to.

Well I went to the con Saturday and I gotta say Nick was brilliant. The con itself was badly run and had major problems but the hour Nick spent onstage made up for all the bad stuff that happened.



Nick was very funny and very quick-witted. He had a quick comeback for pretty much any question asked of him. He was great with everyone who was there. He made time to speak to everyone and was really nice to the younger fans.



He didn't really say much about the show that he hadn't said in interviews before but it was great to see him in person.



I'll be getting my photos developed in a few days so if anyone wants to see them let me know.

I'm in Dallas. Here it's on at 7:00 cst. The UPN is channel 3 for most cable companies here. But if you need to channel surf to find it, they usually show The Fresh Prince right before. So if you see that around 6:30, you're probably in the right spot.

Is anyone planning on going to the Toronto Trek in July?

I know a whole group of Amber fans are going to be getting together on the Friday night of the conference. Thought it'd be totally cool to get a really huge group of Amber Benson fans together and rock the place!



There is a whole bunch of us from another posting group that would love to get together with any of us kittens at the Toronto Trek in July, we have changed the name of the convention to the Amber Trek 2002. 'cause we love Amber so damn much. Well a bunch of us are get together to have a sort of meet and greet session complete with refreshments (but of course!)



Just interested in finding out if any Kittens are going?!

I am in the process of co-ordinating with folks from another board that are going. There's going to be quite a few folks there just to see Amber Benson! How cool is that?!



Still working on getting info from the hotel about snack offerings and such. How much it will be etc etc. I think that at about 8-9pm folks will have had some sort of dinner by then. Or if you're like me, I'll be way too nervous and excited to eat. But I will do so.



Folks, as soon as I can get some details worked out. We'll be golden. I am looking forward to meeting all of you good folks/kittens. The folks from the Essence board, and other posting boards who are going to Amber Trek 2002.



This is the best way I could think of to bring everyone together for Amber Trek 2002. I hope that folks don't mind.
