It's Friday the 13th MKF!!

Ah, another Friday the 13th! I always rather liked this day, not quite buying into the dread everyone else seemed to feel, but it means so much more since finding the Kittenboard. It's almost like a Kitten-holiday, you know? A mini-Thursday, if you will. Witches, magic, MKF ... hell, I may even smash a mirror to celebrate!

And unlike regular holidays, Friday the 13th will be coming back two more times this year - March 13th & November 13th! Plan ahead!

Mostly I'm just really glad it's Friday! It's been a loooooong week! I don't have any superstitions about the number 13.
And tomorrow, no big special plans with my wife, other than probably a nice homemade dinner, 'Better Than Chocolate' (just arrived from Netflix--'Strictly Sexual is next in the queue) and celebrating our 19th Valentine's Day together.

Wow! Such good memories in this thread!

Hard to believe how long ago some of this stuff was. I never really paid attention to the dates until I reread some of this stuff. The wife and I started our trip across country on Fri. the 13th. We registered at city hall as Domestic Partners on Fri. the 13th. I wonder what else we will end up doing on future Friday the 13ths!

Got not such good news about my friend and colleague who's in the hospital but it's too soon to jump to conclusions yet...

On a better note, a friend emailed me tonight saying that she and her boss had started developping a short movie/documentary project and asked me if I wanted to get on board. And yeah, I liked that she said this could become a great way for us to make ourselves known.

Oddly it was a pretty good day. My son got all A's so we celebrated by watching "Dawn of the dead" and then playing "left 4 dead 2".
Based on the last two statements it should be obvious he is 13. Suddenly I am overly concerned about zombie attack, and wondering why I am not good at video games anymore..

Happy Friday the 13th, MKF!! While certainly nothing bad happened, it was not particularly awesome, either. Bummer. I didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th until around lunch time. My two black cats don't seem to understand the significance of the day, as I discovered they'd gotten into the garbage when I came home and made a disaster out of the kitchen. Or maybe they DO get it ... kinda hard to say.
