That would be Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders, Foomatic. It's extremely funny. :grin

Found this parody of the movie, done by some British comediennes that I'm not familiar with. I found it hilarious and liked it better than the actual movie.

Tippin' O' the Velveteen

Enjoy!

You can certainly rely on French and Saunders for comedic re-enactments.

I really like this one. It's clips from the first Spiderman movie and the credits from the second one set to Weird Al's "Ode to Superhero." It's funny, and surprisingly poignant, considering it's, ya know, a Weird Al song.

I love youtube. I've posted several music videos of myself and my singer that were shot with my digital camera. Crap quality vids, but we've had a lot of good responses from them. I've also posted a few random ones of us pissing about, but, ya know. Laugh at us, mock us, for we are indeed entertaining monkeys.
Now I'm back from Canada I'll hopefully get together with her more and make some more vids to put up there. Check them out:

Feel free to leave a comment, positive or negative, and rate the vids please :pray

I search Youtube for music videos with clips from TV series, because they're awesome to watch. And a wonderful way to waste time. :D Here are the best ones I've found so far. I've excluded a few of my favorites because they're from a New Zealand TV show that no one on this side of the world watches. If you'd like any "Tribe" music videos (that's the show name), let me know and I'll post some more links.

Lost

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4cH8jhr ... er%20slash
I love Lost, I love the characters Jack and Sawyer, and I love slash. Slash music videos rock. This one of Jack/Sawyer is particularly well done.

Joan of Arcadia

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tQUPKkB5DQ
General series music video, to "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBy9bs1vhQU
My sister and I are huge Luke/Grace fans, and this is a sweet music video celebrating them. Ah, geek love. :D

One Tree Hill

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWL7gUze ... c%20videos
I don't actually like One Tree Hill at all, so I have no idea how I came upon this music video. But it has music from the soundtrack of "Lost", and it's a sweet and sad video. I like it even though I'm not a fan of the series.

Brokeback Mountain

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6VcVQ1X ... sing%20you
So sad. I think I actually cried the first time I saw this. It's the perfect song to evoke the emotions of the movie.

Been on a Stargate kick lately and have found some fun vids.

Stargate Cantina - SG1 and friends as the Star Wars characters. I works really well and is very funny.

Accidentally in Love - Behind the scenes footage set to the song by Counting Crows. A very cute vid.

Jack and Daniel are Super! - Stargate meets South Park. And Jack and Daniel are gay.

Jack/Daniel Vid - The 200th episode viewed through slash-tinted glasses. And Jack and Daniel are still gay.

It's funny, I'm actually a Sam/Janet shipper, but some of the things J/D-ers come up with are just so fun.

A friend sent me this link, and I was absolutely floored by this woman, her voice, and the song she played. The song is just . . . I haven't been this moved by a song in a long time. I dunno, maybe because I just got married or because I'm a big cheesehead in general, but it was really touching (funny dancing aside) and I found myself all choked up after hearing it for the first time.

The woman's name is Vienna Teng, and I highly recommend investing a dollar and downloading this off of iTunes. It's a keeper.

City Hall, by Vienna Teng

I remember when all this happened in San Francisco, but unfortunately my partner and I couldn't make it to City Hall. I just remember the scenes on tv of all the well wishers braving the rain as couples were getting married in every available space in City Hall. I kinda wished we were there, cause it would have been cool to say that we were a part of it all. The love that day was immeasurable, people sending flowers from all over the country, wedding cake and free following champagne, and a genuine happiness. *Sigh* But yeah, uh, check it out.

I love, love, LOVE Vienna Teng. Is this off her new CD? I'm not going to listen to it now (because I have a sneaking suspicion I'm going to get that CD for Christmas, and I don't want to spoil all the new songs) but I can tell you without listening to it that I love it.

I have her first two CDs, "Waking Hour" and "Warm Strangers". The first CD is the best, in my opinion. If you want more recommendations of songs by her, my favorites are:

~"Drought" (Waking Hour)
~"Soon Love Soon" (Waking Hour)
~"The Atheist's Christmas Carol" (Warm Strangers)

She writes such beautiful lyrics. I just want to take the words to these songs and post them everywhere.
