it was a stupid thing to do, but I had to.
A friend of mine is realy angry now, she says I should have stayed out of LA if I could not adapt to their standards (that is, not wear rainbows and not be too positive about gays) ow can SOMEONE kick her, she's almost 50, she should know better.

I was at the one in Baltimore. We had a lot of positive reacions, suprisingly... I think it was the rain. It was cold and pouring down rain, the anti-gay protestors didn't seem to have the same level of commitment as we did to the cause, and there were a good 50 of us who stayed out for 4 hours after they closed down the rally (rain + electrical equipment = bad) holding our signs and chanting "we're cold, we're wet, we're not equal yet!" haha I lost my voice and was mildy hypothermic by the time I got home, but it was worth it.
