Oh yeah......love laying in bed and just snuggling down. I have the comfiest bed in the world......and it's cold outside and I have the candles going......... time for bed. :wink

The PBM cannot spell to save his/her soul. Spell check is your best friend.

Re: ...

Postby rduffy24 » Fri Nov 07, 2003 2:04 am

Everyone knows I can't spell. And even spellchecker is not always a help, especially at work, as it frequently doesn't recognise the phrases/words I have to use. It even likes to correct my name, dammit! So if I use spellchecker, I have to recheck everything anyway, and its still full of mistakes...That and the fact its US version versus English version spellcheck, and I have to switch from one to the other depending for whom I'm writing for.

TPBM is considering throwing a christmas party this year.

Ohhh totally... but with a twist. Christmas / Chanukah. Blend the two of those together. Should be very interesting indeed.

TPBM hates selling crap for fundraisers.

Depending on the shift I'm working or the hours. My office is the only one with a couch. I try to take a 15 minute power nap on my lunch hour.

TPBM usually doesn't need an alarm clock to wake up every day.

I have the most amazing body clock... If I know I have to be up by 7am, I wake up at 6:55. It's great. Except when I really need that last five minutes. Then it's really annoying.

The Person Below Me is kicking themselves because they missed the perfect post in this thread for them to respond.

(For the record, my perfect post was the G.I.Joe post. I doubt if there are any other Kittens out there who still have the USS Flagg)

There was one a day or two ago about having a lot of house plants. I have about 100 cacti, but I had posted in that thread 3 replies earlier. I didn't want to be a thread hog.

I know the middle finger doesn't count here. I do know sign language. My grandmother couldn't speak that well and was partially deaf so we all learned it. My ex husband's sister is deaf but is also mentally disabled so sign language came in handy then too. My kids have learned also so they can communicate with their aunt.

Oohhhhhhh that would be me!!!

I'm on wrapping and labelling and writing cards now. I like to decorate the labels - I use surplus stationary tags a lot instead of buying the commercially produced ones - because that way it uses recycled paper and I get to decorate them how I want. I know, really sad. But hey! Christmas! So its all good.

TPBM is going to go home for thanksgiving.

Re: PBM

Postby jadeo0 » Sat Nov 15, 2003 9:24 pm

"quark" is a funny word! What does it mean? *looks in dictionary* According to http://www.m-w.com

Main Entry: quark

Pronunciation: 'kwork, 'kwärk

Function: noun

Etymology: coined by Murray Gell-Mann

Date: 1964

: any of several elementary particles that are postulated to come in pairs (as in the up and down varieties) of similar mass with one member having a charge of + 2/3 and the other a charge of - 1/3 and are held to make up hadrons

hmmmm...
