Poached egg and toast. Soon to be followed with a Nyquil chaser.

Herring and onions in sour cream sauce. Also a honey pecan roll and coffee.

Pretty much a recipe for indigestion, no?

Boschi's post above is not a pleasant thing this early in the morning. Herring & onions? Good lord.

Perhaps this black coffee will settle my stomach ...

I just grabbed an apple. It was either that, or a handful of 'See's Candies' in the fridge. I'm really trying to stick to my diet, it's damn hard, so I'm glad I made the right choice.

A squash and potato enchilada. Good stuff.

Anyone ever notice how Boschi's meals, while sounding delicious in their individual parts, are mildly peculiar in combination (ahem...herring and pecan rolls, coffee and asparagus...)?

Leftovers from our first cookout of the season.

Barbecued pork chops, baked potatoes (idaho and sweet), mixed green salad, and ice cream. Yum!

I couldn’t eat the meal I’d prepared, and so I am now munching Cadbury’s milk chocolate, and feeling rather queasy in the process (but I’m managing to persevere).

Not that anyone would be fascinated by my eating habits (repulsed maybe) I’m just trying to get my post count up to ten so that I can post links.

i had them once when i worked with a doctor whose husband was australian. liked them much better than that violet crumble candy he was obsessed with.

topic: i'm having some water from our newly replaced water cooler at work.

Apple and blueberry flavoured porridge and toasted multi-grain bread with a layer of butter so thick I’m sure I can actually hear my arteries protesting.

Mmm ... sourdough toast. Alas, all I have this horrible Monday morning is my mug of black coffee. But sometimes, that's all you really need.

I just had some Chinese almond candies that a customer gave me. I opened it and the candy was wrapped in what looked like thin, flimsy cellophane, and I would have sat there all day peeling it off if I didn't finally figure out that it was rice paper. But anyways, yum.
