My morning coffee is really the only thing keeping me on my feet. I think I'm going to shuffle over to HR, see if they've got any more M&M's.

I desperately wanted some burnt toast to go with my coffee this morning, but alas! I overslept. Again. It was all I could do to get out the door in time.

I do have a glimmer of hope, though ... I was in such a hurry I forgot my cell phone. Since I only live about 10~15 minutes from the office, I now have the perfect excuse to go back home and make some toast!

I will have strawberries after. When I'll be a bit less lazy and actually go to clean them.

What a difference a little breakfast makes! I stayed up just as late last night, got up just as early today ... but I took the time this morning to munch some leftover fried chicken before dashing out the door. It wasn't much, but I have SO much more energy today than I did yesterday (and it was THURSDAY). It's actually quite dramatic. I may have to think about coming in a little late to work every day from now on so I can eat something for breakfast first.

siiiiiigh. life is so hard for the waffle-deprived.

As for me, my breakfast is toast and coffee, but I must, despite knowledge that this thread is not the "what I had for dinner" thread, report my dinner last night and my likely lunch today: goat chops cooked with sauteed spring onions, rosemary, apples, garlic and mushrooms; all of it simmered in apple cider. Kinda quirky, but awfully good.
