Finished the two books above and am now reading a book on the fate of the Romanovs, very sad, makes me angry at the violence and cruelty of it all

Cat's Cradle - Kurt Vonnegut- It's pretty good, a little weird. I read Slaughterhouse five and liked it so I thought I'd try this one.
Catch-22 - Joseph Heller - I've read this before but I thought I'd try it again since I really enjoyed it previously. I'm about halfway through and just started making some progress.
Emma - Jane Austen - I read Persuasion and Pride & Prejudice, so moving on to Emma. I've only read one chapter but it seems good, just really long.

Coincidental events merged...and lead to the unexpected buying of this lovely book I had never seen on the bookshelves before. Folks, I've started it already and it's beautiful.

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, it's kinda lame so I'm reading it concurrently with one of my old favourites, The Dragonbone Chair series by Tad Williams.

Even though I JUST went to the library to keep myself from doing this....I'm re-reading the Twilight Saga. For like the 3rd time in two months. I've already read the recent (and last) one 3 times.
This only makes me more anticipated for the movie that comes out in November! :party

Fingersmith..It took me a year to find that book in my country. It is in the database of a local bookstore but everytime I drop by they say it's not available yet. It was a Serendipitous moment when I found it while scavenging for an altogether different book at a used books store in my university. I bought it right there and then and was surprised when the owner began to talk to me about the story. My thoughts were like "OMG! He knows! and now he knows I'm gay!" I took off after I got the book and was in no mood to chat with him.

Wuthering Heights, Northanger Abbey, and The Five People You Meet In Heaven. I'm a multi-tasker, or at least a multi-reader.

The Paths of the Dead, by Steven Brust. It's a fantasy novel written in the style of Dumas. Pretty fun.

i just finished "the wedding" by nicholas sparks. a quick read, ridiculously sappy, totally not better than notebook. but it made me weepy in a good way.

now i'm on to "the bride of catastrophe" by heidi jon schmidt. not sure what i think yet. only a couple of chapters in but i feel like i could take it or leave it.

'The Man Who Never Missed' by Steve Perry. It's the first of a series which could accurately be described as hard-edged sci-fi martial arts action. But amusingly, I read it because it contains so much love.

'Boy Meets Girl' by Ali Smith - a lesbian fairy tale - she mentions Willow and Tara and everything...More of a poem than a novel - amazing.
