That's me! The only reason i nade it through the holidays without finding a new problem to bitch about is because my problem happened on my very last day before Christmas-I got fired for fighting for equal pay for temporary workers! The used the fact my initial probationary period (that my place gives everyone in their first 6 months) was up, to get rid of me as legally they don't have to give a reason-just because i questioned the legality of their pay strucures-GRRRRRRRRR!



anyway, TPBM is a fellow unemployed person...and hates it!

I certainly am -- for the past 7 months now. I think "hating" would be too strong of a word, but being a work-a-holic, I much prefer doing something productive with my time. Thankfully I have my schooling (which I took up because I lost my job) and my wonderful girl to keep me occupied. But I must admit, I do miss the paychecks.

That would be me! My gf and I are getting married in June on our 10th anniversary and we're (hoping) to take our honeymoon on the Via Rail cross Canada train from Halifax to Vancouver. We'll fly from Ontario to Halifax and sight see for a few days, hop on the train and settle in for a cross country sight seeing tour, then spend a couple of days on the coast before flying home. At least that's the plan.



the PBM has been trying to get into this thread since Xita started it and just couldn't get "THAT'S ME! THAT'S ME!" posted fast enough.

OK, not me, but just a congratulations to Patches That Via Rail tour is going to be phenomenal. I took a trip from Vancouver to Edmonton once and the Rockies were just amazing. Go sit in the bubble car!

We'd gone outside to get something and the horrible thing went back inside and locked the door. Leaving me outside and him inside with his baby sister.

Yeah, great way to look after kids....

He did finally unlock the door.
