I like gloves. I have many pairs, including a pair of hand knitted mohair ones for my 21st birthday. I'm now 41, so that was some time ago!

TPBM is particularly stressed right now

That would definetly be me. Working hard to make sure I'm the one that is getting the promotion. It's leaning more my way every minute though.

You guys are so going to laugh, but in basic training, it was a must to iron your underwear. It was the only way you could get them to fold properly. So, yeah, I did iron them. BUT!!! I don't do it anymore, heehee. =)

TPBM loves to play out in the rain... =)

That would be me. I'm currently working on 5 papers in two different languages, plus my own fic, plus some poetry, and I can't seem to find one decent thing to say between the lot of them. Pathetic much?

If Dubya were intelligent enough to comprehend the idea of reincarnation, he'd definitely want to be a mosquito.

Postby StrangeQuark » Mon Feb 16, 2004 10:33 am

Years ago, when I was nineteen, I actually made my own chainmail. I had to go to the library (there was no 'internet' as we know it, only a few scattered ANSI and text BBSs) find a book that had some of the patterns, and then try to re-create a garment from them. Stainless steel wire, pliers, a pair of sore hands, and a month later, I had a chainmail vest which weighed about 35 or 40 pounds. It was nifty... A real conversation-starter.

TPBM thinks that the legal definition of "Weapons of Mass Destruction" should include television...

Yay again! Twice in one day. I love Lego! I still have all of my Lego blocks from my childhood, plus several sets that I bought in adulthood. My favorite thing to do with them, though, is design and build houses with elaborate floor plans. This is one of the reasons I like playing the Sims game as well, but I digress.

Not exactly what I had in mind concerning the flying dream, Urn, but very cool, anyway!

TPBM LOVES cats.

I seriously have issues with anybody getting banned, because after a certain incident about two years ago, I was banned not from my favorite MB, but from using the COMPUTER ENTIRELY. Not even just the internet, the whole fucking computer. For about three months. I was going to go insane.
