I am super exhausted, but had a great holiday. For the first time ever I stopped at Chicago O'Hare Airport. Man, I fell in love with that airport for some reason. It's pretty tight and I was all tourist in there.

I'm going through there in a couple of weeks and I'm equally excited/dreading it

Nah girl you'll like it trust me. There is alot of places to eat and different types of bars to kick it at. If you want something sporty you got it, if not walk around the corner and you'll find a fancy looking wine bar place. I almost stopped by to play the piano and act like Alicia Keys.

I hope your layover isn't brutal like mine. 4 hours dude! :( Now you know why I was drinking to get a buzz. If you want some company let me know. Haha! I'm fun!!!!

I am exhausted, but had an awesome day today. I just came home from Six Flags Magic Mountain. It was great spending the day with my best friend too. We rode all the major bad ass rides; with the exception of one that was closed down. The most intense one for me was the Lex Luthor ride. You go straight up and have a beautiful view of the city when you drop dramatically. Superman the ride was bad ass too. Going 100mph backwards then again forward is crazy fun.

I got a raise! My first one in nearly 4 years but a raise! It's around $225 a month.

Hey, Heather! Long time no see...or read any new updates. I'm not griping or nudging, but seeing you on here reminded me of something I really needed to do. I started Neverland over once again. Honestly, it's so addictive I barely want to take time to do anything else. I don't think I remembered to eat or shower all week. LOL Kidding, because that would be...really gross.

I just wanted to say congrats on the 8 years! That's wonderful. Time sure flies, and I'm right behind you. It'll be 8 years for me and my gf in April, and it just seems like yesterday that we met.

Say hi to the Mrs from me, and hope to see you again on here when your busy life allows.

I hit a HUGE milestone today!!! I'm minus 55lbs since last August!! This is a really big deal for me because this put me under a certain number that is also REALLY BIG. It's the first time I've been under that number in the last 8 years or so. It's kind of a private celebration though, since no one seems to notice except my wife. They all ask, "You look different, did you do something to your hair?" Yeah, it's my hair...tee hee hee.

Rachel and Chiara went to Rachel's folks for the weekend to help out. They left yesterday morning and Asher's godfather watched him for a few hours and I took 1/2 the day off. Let me say... Asher and I are having the most spectacular weekend. So far we have:

Read about 7 chapters of Harry Potter 7 (me reading out loud to him).
Finished watching HP 6 movie
Watched HP 3 movie
Watched HP 2 movie
Played 2 games of battleship (he won both)
Gone out to lunch at his choice (Souper salad)

And I'm being productive too:
Bought a new printer (I killed the old one 2 weeks ago)
Cleaned the kitchen, loaded dishwasher, unloaded
Asher and I went grocery shopping
Picked up the dry cleaning
2 loads of laundry washed/dried/folded
Chili started in the crock pot
Backed up the computer
Mailed out some Frogs Rachel knitted for my sister.

I couldn't get a tour of the White House, but at least I got my ticket to The Capital. I'm stoked about that. I'll be planning(meaning I'll buying) more stuff to do when I visit out in May. Especially getting tickets to see a baseball game between the Washington Nationals and Chicago Cubs.

I'm just so full of all happy feelings and it's not the alcohol.

Since I'll be traveling next week I'll be missing my friend Josie's birthday. So I took her out to celebrate it today. We went to see Wicked. Dude!!!! Anyone who hasn't seen that musical yet give yourself the chance too. It was brilliant and just awesome!!! Great show followed by a great dinner. Happy Birthday Josie, thank you for allowing me to make it special for you....early that is. Love you ma!

Though I may be a little embarrassed by my love of The OC, it really makes me happy. The theme song always takes me back to my trips to Germany; memories of that time are still some of the best of my life, and it's nice to remember now and then.

My trip in Penn State has been bad ass!! I've been able to do and see lots of great things here. Even things I didn't expect to see. I'm even more excited because I've been able to experience snow fall. People out here are super nice too! I am soooo not in Cali. Not that we're mean out there, but it's just different out here. Even Amish people seemed cool in their own ways.

I'm not even done yet! I have another week left. I am grateful to my peeps out here for hooking me up the way they have been. It's been wonderful spending time with them. I've been meeting more of their family and they're great. They love me to death for some reason. What can I say everybody wants a piece of Jenny B. LOL. I 'm teasing, but it's been wonderful having great conversations and meeting new people. I am truly humbled.

In the last 24 hours, I've applied to a university for the first time in 5 years, and I should know within a few weeks if I get to start there in June, and I bought a plane ticket home to Austin, to hopefully just visit a few weeks if I get in to the school I want, or move back if I don't. I also woke up to a surprise chocolate bunny from my roommate, then went and hiked with dogs from the animal shelter, and finished off the day with a movie night, croissants, cheese and crackers, delicious lemonade, and oreos. Good day

It's a silly little thing, but I'm quite happy cause my old roommate's son just added me as a friend on fb. He's a really cool kid, especially considering he's a 15-year-old boy, and I rather miss our sonic screwdriver fights and random conversations about Doctor Who. I doubt we'll really keep in touch over fb, but the fact he genuinely likes me enough to be friends on there makes me smile.
