I realised listening to somebody speaking on the phone is very VERY irritating because you can only hear one side of the conversation.

in addition to my random fertility magic (see yesterday's random post), i also have a bizarre matrimonial effect on my sig others. five of the last seven (i don't have confirmation for the most recent two) married or committed to the person they dated immediately after dumping me (or in some cases, left me for). so i guess if you want to get married, or have a baby with someone other than me, just date me.

another weird statistic - 100% of the ladies i've dated for more than a month identified as bisexual when i met them and were fully lesbionic by the time we parted ways.

3) I quit rescue. I stopped pulling over for strays. I finally got my number off the lists at every shelter and vets office in the area. Now the damned strays are showing up at my door. What is it about me? Do I just smell like a big ol' softie to their more refined noses? Is there a mark outside the door, kind of like hobo marks, that signifies that I can be snookered in to harboring anything on four legs that staggers in off the street? And why the hell don't people put tags on their dogs?

4) And on a less whiny front: it was so weird: I pull in to my parking lot with my dog in the car. Normally he barks like mad at other dogs, but this time when he sees a loose dog outside he just starts wagging. I pop out and attach a leash to the friendly stray, who then begins throwing herself against the car, wagging manically and whining because she just wants to meet my dog. I kept envisionsing them galloping towards eachother in slow motion through a field of flowers. Is this true love? Does this obligate me in some way? Am I a bad pet owner if I don't let my guy have a chance with the cute girl? Does it matter that he's neutered?

I'm able to swallow today with very little pain. I'd commit murder for a cup of coffee instead of tea. I may even get out of bed today and do some cleaning around here. Uh, who am I kidding, the only thing I'll get up for is to change my pajamas and go to the bathroom. Maybe tomorrow though. It's the thought that counts right?
