The all purpose happy feelings thread

Well, the subject line of this message pretty much says what I've been doing for the past couple of weeks now. Smiling. That seems to be all that I do, most of the time anyway.



I've met somone that I care about and it feels wonderful to finally feel this way again. I haven't felt this way in a long time. She's coming to see my next week and I'm a ball of nerves. They're good nerves, but they're still nerves. They get a little bigger everyday and will probably remain until she's here and I can actually look at her and hold her to know that this is all real and that I'm not stuck in a glorious dream.



I certainly wasn't looking for her, but she came to me and I never want to let her go. I'm so happy.



I can't wait to see you, baby!!

Ok the main reason I'm all giddy and having a glazed look on my face when people see me is becuase I'm going to be seeing my sweety tomorrow after almost 2/3 weeks. We live about an hour train ride away from eachother and everytime we plan to meet up for a week or so I become a smiling, drooling zombie lol.



I can't wait, we talk everyday and most of the time we're saying 'I miss you, I luv you' then I get to see him...Eeeeeeeee! ^^.

In the past week, I've applied for *4* jobs, plus a paid-participant study. For someone who's been crippled by depression and pervasive hopelessness in the employment department, I think this may be a personal best (for at least 10 years).



I will have applied for at least 2 more by Friday.

FINALLY my schedule has gone from 6 day, 10 hour shifts and 4 over-nights ( which added 6 hours on top of the 10 hours) to 5 day 8 hour shifts and only 1 over-night.





Can you tell how much I am loving this.

Lol. Love the convo. I just had my first day of college last night, since I'm taking night classes. It's fun. Everyone in my class thinks I'm weird because I asked the teacher if we would be using little magnetic alligators to learn the < and > signs. I remember using those in second grade. I miss them. Math is really boring because it's all stuff that we learned in elementary school, but the math dude says we need practice. I'm happy because I will have no problem getting A's.

It's tiny but I bought the pants I always buy cause they're my size only they aren't- they're about two sizes two big! I'm actually seeing results after months of diet and finally settling down and working out every day! At this rate I'm going to need a new belt next month!



I think the turning point was when I set some time aside to pray a few minutes each day and added my work out to the end of that time. It just took divine intervention to get me to work out!

Last week I had an exam and I had the feeling I had done it pretty good My teacher told me that he'd send the marks to our e-mails this week, and I've been checking my e-mail like 5 times per day since Monday



But finally today when I got home back from the beach, I checked and found I had gotten the e-mail, finally I got 8.7 points out of 10, in my exam I swear I checked again and again, but not mistaken, it was me, yup *nods* So now I'm all and , at the same time

Well... I've been working for exactly 8 working days with my new job. I didn't post any happy feelings about it because... as much as i like the work i actually get to do (recreating and customising movie visuals for publicity purposes), I'm surrounded by major bitch fest the whole day long. with 3 designers and me being the lowest paid and the lowest position in the whole department... I'm being dumped the heaviest workload (currently I have 5 movie campaigns under my belt Resident Evil: Apocalypse, The Ghost, The Grudge, a Coke campaign ad, Alexander and a Simplot food campaign). My boss who strikes me as a lesbian or a bi, she likes me and brought me out to lunch and gave me tee shirts and stuff. For Resident Evil:Apocalypse... the distribution guy who i'm doing the campaign for is gonna give me one of the tee shirts when it gets printed out! My own Milla plastered on a tee!



Overall... I'm gonna try to stick to this job as long as my mind can tolerate the bitch fest around me all day long... and the 6 day a week work... and the low income...

I've had 9 wonderful days with my, baby this week and I still have 2 more. I'm getting spoiled to having her here. I hate it when she has to leave though. I feel more for her everyday and even through the little misunderstandings here and there, I still can't imagine what I would do without her in my life.



I feel so blessed and I love every new day that comes along.

I just found out exactly what kinda company I work for. I now work for a Film Distribution Company But I doubt I can get them interested in films I want to watch (e.g. Amber Benson's indie films which feature gay stuff), for one thing... it'll be heavily censored... which is sad. But hey... I've got a job that's interesting with surround sound bitch fest. Fun.



ETA:- This week I saw my first b & w fullpage as well as 12 x 5col ads in the national newspapers across the nation! Woo Hoo! My next fullpage ad will be a full blown 4 color Shark Tale contest promo!!! Cinemas across the nation already seen my Resident Evil: Apocalypse publicity materials and in line for printing is the Alexander popcorn boxes, staircase stickers (one of which features Angelina Jolie) and giant banners. My company didn't get the distribution rights to Sky Captain which was a shame... (i so wanted to do Sky Captain)

What a comeback...they were down 3-0 heading to the bottom of the 9th and came up with 7, as Finley hit a walk off grand slam!
