Wondering if the Kittens have cats :)

While leaving in greece we had for two years the cuttest cat called Rambo (*G* my brothers choice). He was adorable - he won even my mother, who untill then really didn't like cats (childhood drama).



But sigh some people in this world a really cruel - a neighbor poisned him.

I had a very preety lil white persian kitten with a pink nose and very playful. (Man im gonna start crying:) Well we got him and hes been like the best pet weve ever had cuz ok here my bad pet stories. Before him ive had 3 dogs a rabbit and a chicken (actually the chicken was the only one that survivrd but we had to give it away) . OK! the dogs, one of them humped everyone that came to my house (EVEN THE MORMONS IN THEIR BICYCLES!!!) he other one had explosive diahrrea and the other one would not stop throwing up. The rabitt got loose and choked on a plantain . And well my favs one of all and my fams was the kitty wich got squished accidently by my grandmother bcuz she sat down and didnt see him. He broke his pelvis and well they had to put him to sleep ;_; . Ive been wanting another for a while but now but still havent found one thats just right. Well thats my story. Good day kittens ....im gonna wipe the tears now

My sister has a cat called Oscar. He's a tabby, and the most unaffectionate cat ever (unless he's hungry!) He use to pee in my shoes, so I never warmed to him. He's got a bald neck (bad reaction to his flea collar!)

Yikes, those are a couple of really sad cat stories..Hmmm my "little" cat is so affectionate, i didnt think cats were like that...Kind of like children, they do things for attention or to get what they want Sorry to hear about your cat...My ex's got trapped under a sofa bed one time, we didnt know she was under there and broke her little paw, i really felt horrible about the whole thing...It didnt keep her from jumping out a third story window going for a bird though..Lizzie (the cat) actually wasnt hurt to badly, she landed on her feet, but broke her other paw, had two little casts on her right front and back left paw

i have two cats. One is a bloke called Dibble, as in officer dibble from "Top Cat", we call him dibbs for short. We use to have a cat called Top Cat but he had a thing for jumping in front of cars and one day the car didn't stop in time...sniffle...our other cat, a wee lassie, is callled connie. that's short for (and i'm not too sure about the spelling) Confusious, a japanese philosopher. Dad had a book that was open at a page about this person, and she was sprawled all over it when she was a wee kitty so the name stuck.



I had to throw her off this chair when i was starting up the computer. She's casting, so i'm gonna have a hairy bum. Does everyone else have that problem, cat hairs on the bum? Dibbs i all dirty, don't know what he's been up to, but mum is gonna blow a blood vessile when she finds out he's been sleeping on the couch...



I think i'll go hide now..

I have two kitties, affectionately called "the biggies" because they're both 17 pounds. A boy (Winston -- all blue) and a girl (Dallas -- gray and white tabby with the cutest pink nose ever). Winston isn't overweight, just big. Dallas may have a bit of extra on her tummy, but we don't talk about it.

Hey I was 3 he was my favorite of the puppies!) and I have 1 dog his name is Ringo (Beatles) and I have 3 birds: a cockateil her name is Becca and a conyour his name is Panasonic and a canary his name is Harry. I also have 2 hamsters (both girls) they are Curry and Rose (short for Rosealett).

My girlfriend and I have two cats, Marc Antony and Mimm. Marc's a Maine Coon basically meaning he's huge with really furry feet and Mimm's just a wee little kitten at present. Right now we're filling out all their paper work so that we can all move back to Scotland. When we get there they'll have the pleasure of meeting my family kitties in Scotland - Mog, Frodo Baggins (who's been very pleased with his new film), Rosie, Maisie and Lola.



All our cats (my girlfriend's and my family's) were originally strays - they just seem to gravitate towards us.

Tara: There was the front of a camel - a half camel.

I've got two cats. A blind eleven-year-old Siamese named Ralph, and a five-year-old Himalayan(sp?) Siamese named Sydney. The only other cat I've had other than them was a Siamese named Pearl, but she got really bad liver problems and we put her to sleep. *s*



My older brother's planning on getting me a kitten for my birthday(even though its already come and gone) but we haven't been able to find a female Siamese...we're very picky about what kind of cats to get. And although it may not be the most origanal name, I have great plans to call her Willow.

hmmm... i guess i'll just wait for the moment where i'll stumble (not literally) to a lost kitten in the street and pick it up and bring the kitty home... i guess that's the perfect way to own a pet, don't you? (and, uhm, adoption is another)

I have just the one cat now..Alley Cat..actually she is my daughters cat she picked her out of a litter my cat had... she's mostly black with white paws and she's a wonderful cat. Her mom was called Ripley(Who ran off with a huge tom cat.) Alley had a couple of litters and we kept some of the kittens..sisters Idgie and Ruth and a long haired kitten we called Wolfie.. she had the temper of a pre menstrual werewolf.. We also had some rescue cats..Unfortunately the housing estate where we lived was a very rough place with some very nasty people and we lost nearly all our cats to a poisoner..it was a dreadful time and I re homed the survivors.. except Alley Cat.. to save them from poisoning. Alley, after being spayed stayed in the house. Now I live in the country and she loves it. I also have 2 dogs now..A cross Rottweiller/german shepherd Called Tasha Yar and a Pit Bull called Ted...he was a very abused dog (there really are some evil people in the world) now he guards my home and my daughter, he is totally devoted to her..as I'm typing this, she is lying on the sofa reading "Buffy, The Book of Fours", Ted curled up in the crook of her legs. All my pets have either descended from an original stray or have been rescued, it seems to me that's the best way to get a pet..then you know they are meant to be with you.

I'm more of a dog person than a cat person. Yes, kittens are adorable, but by the time they reach adulthood, they tend to grown to be kinda selfish and demanding. But, that said, I've always had had a cat or two, and loved them dearly. Nothing beats going to sleep to the rythmatic purring on a contented puss.



My current cat is actually engaged in a fantastic B/S style 'relationship'. She's an elegant, snobbish and ruthless Siamese - the kind that can take on our large dogs without blinking. So, naturally, the battle-scarred and abscess-covered grey mog across the road is totally enamored of her. The poor thing sits outside all day waiting for our Sonja to come out. And when we let her go play, the first thing she does is attack him, and then she takes off in a huff!

I have a black and white cat and his name is Socks and he is SO cute! I'd post a picture of him if I had one but...oh well. Just imagine Bill Clinton's cat but TONS cuter!



Anyway, I found him 2 years ago at the school where my mom works and he was hiding in the bushes. And then he came out and I crouched down...picked him up...and he's been mine ever since! He was 3 pounds when I found him...but now he's like, 20 pounds! He's got black and he's got white paws and a white belly. And he's still the cutest thing you could ever imagine!

I have a male cat named Howie, got him from the pound. I have had him for about 10yrs.



Used to have another cat named Shorty, had her for about 16 yrs. She was a very sweet cat, loved to eat Nutter Butters, Peanut Butter, Twinkies, French Fries, and helped me get thru my parents divorce when I was younger. Last year, I had to take her to the vet and have her put to sleep, broke my heart.

diversionarytactics: I actually don't have any idea how he got so heavy! I mean, my mom only feeds him a scoop during the morning and then another scoop at night. It might have something to do with how much I slip him at dinner though.



My mom says the brand is Puriena (sp?) 1 and my mom said it's the diet kind. How he got so big is beyond me!

I have two cats. Puff is older than 5, I know that, but I don't remember when we got him. He's kind of mean, snippy you might say. Pumpkin is a year old on the fifteenth. She goes by a variety of aliases: Punkin', Punkie, Punkie Pie, Punks, Babycakes, and more I can't think of. When we got her she was 8-12 inches long head to tip-of-tail, now she's 24 inches long, and not getting much bigger. There are some pictures of her here. Note that those are pictures of her from last May.

She's a total goof. She finds crumpled up paper balls and bats them around the house. Sometimes she just forgets what she's doing and just looks around like she has no idea where it is. She's a lot like the character Scrat from Ice Age: Simple-minded and not very bright. You can't help but love her though, and her antics are always funny to watch.

I have one cat back home with my parents, I haven't seen him for about 2 years or so. He's a "special" cat. I seriously think he was tweaked. Once, the poor dear, scared him self half to death. He was playing in a paper grocery bag and shifted a bit, the rustling freaked him out. So he jumped out of the bag 'cept he tried going out thru one of the handles and it got caught on his tale. So he ran around the house like a bat out of hell with the bag chasing him. He finally shook it off when he ran up the wall to about my height, crashed down to the ground and wiggled out of it.



Does anybody else's kittly like to watch the Discover Channel or Animal Planet and chase the running animals across the screen. My kitty does that, the looks around all confused like when he's not running next to the antelopes or whatnot anymore. Its hard to explain to him that he can run around all he wants, but the animals have to stay in the lil magic box.

Crys: You're cat sounds SOOOOOOO cute! My cat loves grocery bags, and he just sits there with his butt hanging out.



But once when he was still just a kitten, he went all the way in and my mom was cleaning the kitchen...so she was picking up all the stuff on the floor and she didn't see my cat in there, so she picked up the bag and my poor little kitten fell through the bottom. I think I laughed for 10 minutes afterwords.

My wife and I had a stray kitten come up to us in Amarillo, TX on our way back to Phoenix during our move fr Chicago. She named her Cali cause she's a calico; she just loves it to death.



Literally. She's allergic to cats.



When we arrived it was limited to sneezing and coughing; last Sunday it escalated to vomiting all night, apparently she'd been swallowing the mucus building up in her nasal passages when she doesn't have a kleenex available. Now she's been sapped of much of her energy and spends half her waking hours in bed.



She insists on taking allergy medicine for the rest of the cat's life, which I think borders on insanity, so I'm trying to give the cat away to a 'no-kill' shelter but haven't yet found one in Arizona that accepts stray's from the public. Any ideas, kitties?
