Okay, so i rarely remember my dreams. pretty much the only time i remember my dreams is if i wake up to pee and occasionally if my alarm wakes me up. and half the time i do remember one, in it, i have to pee.



but i just remembered that i had a dream last week and actually woke up and wrote it down (probably woke up cuz i had to pee) but i couldn't remember what it had been, so i went and looked in my journal to see what i had written. after i read it, i decided that i needed to dig up this thread and post it, just because.



"i just woke up from a long intense dream.

first i dreamt that i got some of my weed confiscated by a cop walking into my dad's house when i was walking out w/Nikky[my gf]. we went to the car and i tried to hide some of it so only a little was found, which made my mom mad at me.

Then i had a sort of continuation dream. It was like a camp or something and we were 'playing war' of sorts. They set us up w/some weapons and as we continued to play our weapons seemed to get better and we got better ditches to hide in. but then one of the other teams had lasers! and since i was not very comfortable in the ditch, i turned over and woke up."



i don't remember the first dream at all, and i only vaguely remember the second. i do remember that there was more to the dreams, but i didn't write it down because i figured i'd remember the details if i had the framework down. oh well.

Hello, peoples!



I have say, that I have these recurring dreams where my teeth falls out...that's suppose to mean something bad right? Anyhoo, it's happened more than once, where I'm looking at my face in the mirror with little to no teeth. I'm pretty freaked out by it, and thank goodness those teeth dreams decided to take a halt because I havent had one for a while. But then I've noticed that I havent dreamt about anything for awhile either, it's that or I don't remember them...it's pretty strange. It may very well be because my lack of proper sleep, though.



But, I do remember some past ones... I had one where my sister was covered with cockroaches, I was being chased by chucky, I had a couple of sex dreams but those I shouldn't mention... , and I seem to have a ton of dreams where I'm driving on water...I appear to have a water theme in my dreams, which is weird because I don't even know how to swim!



What do you guys think?

well, i don't know anything about interpreting dreams, but i don't think it's strange at all that you have a lot of water-themed dreams if you don't know how to swim. I'd say it's more likely that you have a lot of water-themed dreams because you don't know how to swim.

La, you're probably right...the whole water-themed stuff appearing in my dreams isn't that strange now that you've got me thinking about it. Still I don't want to be anywhere near deep water, dream or not. It scares me half to death. Stupid me though, for not learning how to swim in the first place.



And here I am, babbling about swimming.

I knew that was going to happen!!! I was crossing my fingers that I wouldn't get caught... Because I saw a few others with longer sigs than mine on a couple of older posts, I'm guessing it's changed now... But, I understand why my sig was edited...(I did read the FAQ) It was just too long, i apologize. I promise I'll tone it down to just 2 lines.



I just read my email and I realized that I used a 'Dawn' quote from the episode 'two to go' ( beyond Seeing Red ) in my signature... I forgot that I'm not supposed to do that... So...I apologize for that too.

I agree with La, the whole water-themed dream would probably be because you don't know how to swim. Me, I've hit the water the wrong way a couple of times and let me just say..OUCH!



Well, I had a dream some nights ago that was just wierd and well, disturbing. Basically there was this girl (our age) sitting around with myself, my gf and a few other people in a room with one of those funky circular leather, white sofas. She's whispering something in my ear, trying to be all smutty about it i think cuz I look at my gf and back away from the girl but I don't know what she says, although there was this feeling of temptation. I couldn't do it. scene changes and it's now just the three of us, my gf is sound alseep and this girl begins to do things that I will not go into detail with, but smutty. I'm behind the sofa trying to figure her out when she whispers something in my gf's ear figuring that if she whispers my gf can't tell if it's me or whoever, my gf smiles and nods in her super-deep sleep, I don't get to hear what she whispered. Girl turns her head and gives me an evil smile. Mystery girl then gets very..umm, vivid stuff with my girl. I'm pissed beyond hell and yelling but it's like I'm behind this glass wall. scene changes and I'm sitting down at a table, my gf putting away stuff in a cabinet or something and I'm really upset thinking about what had happened. my gf asks what's wrong, I make mention of the girl. She says something about the girl that made her uncomfortable. i look at her and say that she touched her. 'She did something, didn't she?' my gf looks at me like I have three heads and says that it was something she said. I make one of those 'oh..' faces and she proceeds to tell me what it was. and I wake up. i never get to hear what the hell this girl is saying in the three instances of this freakdream. it was way too freaky and disturbing. and if in June I meet up with someone that remotely looks like this girl at the MR con, I think I'm gonna..well, freak and just head home...



I didn't like it...nope...didn't like it at all...

I too have scary dreams about water because I can not swim (now). I almost drowned nine years ago because I suddenly remembered having drowned (in the sea) in a past life while in the water. I lost all ability to swim right then and I went under. My mom saved me. So now I have dreams where I am remembering that day over and over. It's really sad.



Also, lately I keep having this dream about this boy who I went to high school with. He kisses me and I enjoy it, which for me is strange because "I think I'm kinda gay" and stuff. but it's just really wierd. He was a really good friend and I don't know why I would be dreaming this now.



Any ideas, kitties?

I have remembered a few dreams about kissing random guys. Either guys that I have known, or not. Usually when it's guys I know, it's not really someone who's a really close friend, just a random guy. And it's not even usually really attractive guys or anything ... hmmm. So I have no idea what any of that means.



My last boyfriend with whom I'm still good friends had a dream the other night that I was running a lesbian porn ring.

Well Kitten, I've head a scary dream once and if I say scary... it is scary...



I was dreaming that I was about to drown in a frozen lake and my mum was reaching her hands out to help me... But she couldn't help me and I was only pulled more into the water and saw how my mum's hand vanished... so I practically drowned in my dream... THAT was scary I can tell you...



What might that mean? Probably... aargh, damn, I have no idea

I had a very strange dream this week.

Aly was in it and she was engaged to Enrique Iglesias.

And it was plausible!



Enrique was doing some sidewalk concert thingie (yeah, very plausible!) and rubbing his belly the way he does. That boy's no Ricky Martin! Aly was being the supportive and enthusiastic partner. Aly and Enrique!



So, being me, my dream-self was brave and went up to tell Aly hi from the kittens (and to fawn, I'll admit it). And then my dream-self got a happy shock because Amber was there with Aly. Ooh! Dream-self got all stuttery and speechless and

blushy.

You know, it's really sad that I'm such a dork even in my dreams!

I have really busy mind. So I usually dream about things that happened to me during the day.



If I spent day studying I will dream I'm studying.



That's bad cause I can never leave events of the day behind me. But it does have nice side. If I spent the day kissing with someone I will probably dream about it.

I tend to have dreams about having sex with people I know, but normally don't think about that way. Sometimes I have dreams that are just regualer days. Other times I have dreams that I'm at camp, yelling at my enemy, and then I go craft shopping. I call those my repressed dreams.

I was making out with this totally gorgeous straight girl (who, at the time, I happened to be deeply in love with... but that's another story...), but when we pulled apart, I turned into a frog... and she was holding me and running around trying to find out what happened to me... and the whole time I'm just sitting there in her hands....

A weird thing is happening in my dream life.



When my dream faeries want me to have a bad dream, they usually use tornadoes or public restrooms. Tornadoes have always been very powerful imagery to me, so it doesn't surprise me. I'm endlessly fascinated by tornadoes. I'm not endlessly fascinated by public restrooms, though.



In my tornado dreams, I'm usually in a house and I look out a window and see it/them heading in my direction. Then there's a panic about what to do. I usually run and they don't catch me and that's the end of that - the dream morphs into something else or I wake up or whatever. One time, I remember the tornado did catch me, but it dissipated just as it reached me, revealing a beaten-up, emaciated dog inside who told me he was the God of Tornadoes. Then the tornado started up again behind me and went on its way. Anyway, in a quest to get at the bottom of my tornado dreams, which I had off and on for probably at least ten years, I determined that I have them more often when there's turbulence in my life. And tornadoes are nothing if not turbulent.



In my public restroom dreams, I am always lost in them. Sometimes I have to go through one to get where I'm going, but it turns out to be a labyrinth. They're usually dimly-lit, dirty, and very unpleasant places. Public restrooms don't have any special significance to me, so I'm at a loss as to why they'd show up so often in my dreams.



But! What's happening recently is that my dream faeries have begun using sharks now. They seem to be of the same type as my tornado dreams, just that it's sharks after me instead of tornadoes. I have pretty much zero interest in sharks, so I'm surprised that my dream faeries have chosen them.



I had a shark dream last night. It was pretty horrible. Especially because this was some kind of Freddy Krueger-type shark - existing only in dreams, but able to hurt me. So I was dreaming about dreaming. That's always fun. Anyway, the shark was one of several things that were after me and they seemed to be able to pop into and out of existence all around me. Very scary.



Most of my dreams are just insanely bizarre, but not really scary. Even the ones that are scary aren't usually the kind of terrifying that wakes me up or stays with me throughout the day, leaving me feeling disoriented and spooked all day. This dream I had last night is no exception - it's only notable because it's an example of my dream faeries' new fondness for sharks.

I don't remember my dreams very often, but when I do...



I've had the same dream a couple of times... where I kiss this delightful young woman, and it's all very warm and nice... but the instant we break apart I turn into a frog. Any of you dream-experts know what it means? Even my psychologist couldn't really figure it out.

I had a dream once that I got pulled over by a cop on Halloween (two days before Halloween this year) and wrote it off 'cause I am a good driver and hadn't ever been pulled over before. Anyway Halloween came and I DID get pulled over...so maybe my dreams are prophetic or something...:/



I had a dream about a girl I like once and it kept blipping around...like one minute we were in gym (note that at that time I hadn't even been to her school let alone go to any classes...and oh yeah I GRADUATED before the dream) talking about how I liked her and the next scene we were in my room and she had no shirt on...then I woke up :'(



I usually dream about things that are bothering me...like an issue I have and the ways I could deal...like just telling people how I feel about them or confessing my love to them...well for right now just HER...but yeah...FUN FUN FUN

One time I dreamt that there was this snow tornado (I'm deeply terrified of tornados) and it was chasing me and it tried to take away my dog so I offered it some used phone cards and it left us alone.

Oh tornado dreams. I have them too from time to time. Fascinating stuff. I love twisters, they are such an awesome sight to see on TV (though obviously I do not love them detroying people's homes). I've never seen one for real, not even one of the relatively watertwisters we sometimes get around here. Anyway, I usually dream about them when I am fretting over something. I usually manage to find a place to hide and then when they pass I leave and they return, for some odd reason I can never manage to find a place then that is perfectly safe, there is this sense of impending doom and just not knowing whether it will suck me up.

Public restroom dreams are not alien to me either, the quest for a non filthy, non exposed toilet is a recurring one, but the only meaning behind it is that I really need to go to the toilet.

The thing that is upsetting me right now is that I am dreaming about the kids at work and I am on vacation, I don't even want to think about it. I wish they'd leave my dreams! GRR!

I’m always having those public restroom dreams too. They’re pretty disgusting. Anyway, I’ve always had such vivid dreams, that they may as well be real. The one I had last night was pretty weird, though. I had a dream about a friend I haven’t seen in ten years. She used to be my best friend, but we had a falling out over my then girlfriend. In my dream I met up with her on a college campus. When she first saw me, she didn’t want anything to do with me, but I said, “I just want to talk.” She looked at me in an irritated way and said that she had class, but that if I wanted to wait, she’d talk to me after class. To make a long story short, I waited, she slowly warmed up, and by the end of the dream, we were getting kind of cozy, if you know what I mean. It was really strange. I haven’t thought about her in such a long time, and then to dream this. I wonder what my subconscious is trying to tell me.

Just saw this thread and it reminded me of a couple of dreams I had about six months ago (and wrote down elsewhere). In one I dreamt I was in bed with Amber Benson but it wasn't all squicky and sometimes-I-think-about-girls-doing-a-spell-together-and-then-I-go-off-and-do-a-spell-y, but snuggly and warm and friendly.



Which doesn't really surprise me because as much as I loved Tara, it's never really been about the heat so much as the warmth, if you know what I mean and I assume you do.



I have Faith (and sometimes Anya) for the other type of dream, but we need not get into that here...



Remind me to tell you all sometime about the person who IMed me pretending to be Charisma Carpenter. Speaking of, another time I dreamed that Cordelia/Charisma (not sure if it was her character or her, but she definitely had CC's talent for filling a dress) and I were dating. Or had been, or sumthin'.



Anyway, she came over to this apartment where I was staying with a couple of other guys. I wasn't expecting her. I was in my underwear (yes, it was one of those kinds of dreams) and she didn't seem happy about it, like she was ashamed of me or something. Stop yourselves from making the obvious joke.



She and the other two guys played cards while I watched from a corner of the room.

hmmm..*taps head and tries to remember* Oh! I had a dream where I was watching myself sleep..(someone else mentioned they had one like that, that's what reminded me.) Except in my dream I was in a sleeping bag curled up next to the girl I liked at the time..haha, and I was just watching us..it was funny. Then I remember being back in my own head in the sleeping bag with her. Next thing I knew, I had her by the hand and we were running through her house, I think, and some random girl was chasing us..we had just gotten to her house and hadn't had a second alone, so we finally got to the bathroom and locked the door, and we both realized that this is the first time we'd been alone since we got to her house..soo, I was just about to kiss her, and then I pulled back to check if the girl was still outside the door, for some reason..and she was and she shoved her way into the bathroom when I opened the door to look, and the girl I liked was staring daggers at me for opening the door. I'm still kicking my dream self for opening that door, lol. anyways, that's it..anybody got any ideas on what all that means?

public restroom dreams, eh? public restrooms are one of my biggest fears but thankfully they've never haunted me in my dreams.



for the past week or so i've been having dreams about a girl. sometimes just still images in vivid color, like a slideshow- mussed hair, intertwined fingers, the crook of a neck; others are more... last night i dreamed i crawled into the backseat of a car, kissed the elusive her on the cheek and laid my head in her lap saying "i just need to be near you right now." either way, they're all really intense. i can never see her face, but the way she moves, man, the way she moves... i always wake up feeling warm and soft and comfortable.



analysis: i need a girlfriend and/or to get laid.

Oh...I had to jump in here....I have some totally bizarro dreams...but some are so cool....



Like....I used to have this reoccuring dream....it would start with me in the basement of this castle like building....the floor was all dirt and their were about 5 or 6 staircases that were made of stone that spiralled up and out of sight into total blackness...I would have to chose which staircase I wanted to go up and then I would start walking up...I was surrounded by blackness...



Then at the very top their would be a door....no walls or anything...just a door...when I would walk through...I would be inside of a house or building...usually some place I had never been....and sometimes their would be people chasing people trying to kill them....and I would want to turn around and go back out the door....but sometimes there would be no door and I would be trapped until I could find a way out...or if there was a door I would go through it and not come out where i started....it was actually a pretty cool dream....



I also used to dream about a waterfall...that looked like multi-colored oil paints...and there would be cars coming down it...but they were all smashed up like at the junkyard..very bizarre....



I have lot's of reoccuring dreams....some that pick up where I left off....but it is really cool....

Ok, this is really starting to freak me out. I had the same dream again. Well, not exactly the same, in fact the details were completely different, but the theme was the same. I again dreamed about my old best friend and college. (For the previous dream, just look up a few posts.) This time I was visiting her in her dorm room. I really don’t want to go into details, but again, I hadn’t been thinking about her. If anyone has any insight into what this may mean, I’d really appreciate it, because it makes me wonder what’s going on inside my brain.

So I had the weirdest dream last night and I have no idea what it means. I was dreaming I was at a football game with my parents and uncle when all of a sudden this guy was standing at the top of the stadium and there were stairs up there so I'm guessing he was supposed to be there. Anyway as he was walking down the stairs (which were the spiral kind) he tripped and fell to the ground. It was freaky cuz it seemed so real right down to when the guy actually hit the ground. I woke up right after that happened and I have to say I couldn't get back to sleep for a while. I don't know what it means but it's the first time in a dream that someone has actually fallen to their death...kinda freaky if you ask me. Lets hope I wont have it again any time soon
