Hmm, is nobody else having happy feelings? I'm sure it's odd that I should have 2 consecutive posts in this thread.

Anyway, I've been invited for another job interview. Yay!
Although, the letter says that candidates will initially be split into groups of up to 10 people for a 'discussion' about "why did you apply for the post?" Which is all well & good, except that, when faced with group discussions, I'm the person who sits very quietly & tries to fade into the background.

Ah well, at least it's a potential job.

Awww Jeanne....I totally understand about the "fading into the backround" I have a tendency to lean toward that as well (by choice, of course ) I've been to many job interviews (strange side note; I've actually gotten every job I've applied for.... )Annnnyway, the trick is to pretend that you actually are the type to take initiative and join in the discussion.....what ever it is that makes you want to go unnoticed, you have to throw that out the window for the hour and a half you're at the interview. (It really does work) You have to join in when you normally wouldn't, say things you normally wouldn't and at all costs avoid sitting there quietly with nothing to say.....and most importantly (now this is going to seem like a total contradiction, but it's not) act natural.

okay....so to get this post remotely on topic....I'd just like to say that I'm happy because today is Friday! Wooo Hooooooo!

So.. I posted in the crappy feelings thread almost a week ago about my mom going into rehab and stuff...

I went to visit her for the first time today cuz its the first time I've had time, and my lord. She is doing SO awesome. I've gained SUCH respect for her, and she's so determined to do this, and God I'm just so happy to have my mom back. She seems so alive and happy and just.. indescribable. It makes me so happy that she's doing this, I get scared, because how can I not think of the possibility that she relapses you know?

But I can't think like that.. I'm gonna be positive for her and go with her to AA meetings and stuff, and just support her and be in her life as much as I can. I'm going back tomorrow and I really just can't wait. I've even talked to some of the teens there who are in for meth and coke and stuff, and they're all so nice, and it breaks my heart that they got messed up on that stuff, but it's so admiring to see them try and get their life on track, so I try and talk to them and befriend them as much as I can, because I know they enjoy having someone on the outside to talk to.

Anyways, I'm prayin for her everyday hoping that she stays like this. She seems 100% determined to REALLY stop drinking, and it makes me happier than anything ever could in my life. I'm on cloud 9 and I don't want to get off.

AND!! She bought us both tickets to go see Wicked on the 21st, and she should be out by then, so that I'm REALLY excited for. And yeah. I'm just happy

I just saw Formula One racing.....Suzuka GP.... and it just MADE ME SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! Yes....I do enjoy the little things in my life I think this race was one of the best races of this year..... but then again, it might be just me GO KIMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is a bit shallow to be on this thread, but I'm happy coz it's raining when I woke up! The sound of rain on my window panes, the fresh smell of it! See, it's shallow I don't know if some of the UK kittens are gonna agree with me, but I love the RAIN (for now)!!! Coz it hadn't rain here since the start of autumn. We usually have rain as early as August, but this year had been a bit dry.

Ok, expect me to post here again when it started snowing I really love it when the season change.

I am happy cuz i am near my baby for the next 6 months or so. i arrived on monday 3rd and we had a whole week for ourself. now she is gone to her base (army for the next week ) but she comes back into my arms so what lol

I love Israel and MY girl. its so fucking warm here its amazing. i left germany behind and it was like 10 degrees and now i am in their winter (what they call winter ) and its still around 25 degrees.

Can it be any better? well yeah cant it be next week already so that i can hold my baby again

I have a freaking crush on my dentist. She is so gay, athletic and looks great. This has to stop. I am running out of money and dental benefits. I have almost maxed out for the year. I have enough left in my flex account for one more porcelain crown. The doc is slowly but surely replacing all of my old amalgam (silver looking fillings) with all porcelain. She is so hot and funny. I need a new hobby, something other than dental work. When Melissa E. was on Oprah last week, I was sitting in the chair and she asked" where can you go for an afternoon for a dentist visit and listen to Melissa? Not very many places. When I 1st started going to her, I had broken a tooth on popcorn, her reply " those old maids will get you everytime", I was thinking, sweetie, you do'nt know the half of it.
